Neither is the next year's first round pick (hereinafter called the Oden pick) that the Bulls can swap their pick for.

I like Isiah, and am not down on the job he has done to the degree that others are, but this failure is a fireable offense.

it will be if denver contintues to play like they did tonight against dallas, and if boozer is as useless as he was tonight for the jazz.

Boozer was only scheduled to play 5 minutes tonight coming back from injury.

ultimately this move is no different from a lot of moves we have done, although Curry still has a solid upside from where he is now. He is what he is a 15 and 6 player who shoots 53%+ until proven otherwise. Patrick Ewing at the same age--without the 4 year NBA start averaged 20-9-2.5. I think Eddie has the physical potential to be a 25-10 player, but I dont know if he has the heart opr the mentality to do it[assuming he is 100% healthy an can play 35+ minutes without getting tired after 10] so he remains a *potential player* who was valued at the level of an NBA superstar during the trade.

the part that hurts for us is that Isiah did not negotiate downside risk--- protection on picks--like what Denver had for Kenyon--top 5 is your only insurance to protect yourself against a bad season. They are going to argue that Eddy wouldve been pick 1--you know that line of BS is coming--but thats all it is, a line. We negotiated against oursleves and I think protected 2 players-- Lee or Ariza that couldve been used in th deal to save all of our picks.

I sometimes think that Isiah didn't hold out for lottery protection because he overestimates his ability to assess talent.
