according to Realgm Minnesota wants to get bigger. They make the same money except Jaric's contract is a year longer. Still a long shot since everyone knows what you'll get from JJ which is 16mins of nothing whereas Jaric still has room to grow. Maybe Minnesota thinks he can play based on his playoff numbers last year lol Might be able to pull this one off I mean they did get suckered into thinking Olowokandi can play!

I just posted this exact same thing..I would do it in a heartbeat.....Jaric is a great swing guard and it helps ease the paing of Craw for Francis if that is the route we are choosing to go

We can only trade JJ if we can somehow get him to play decent on a consistent basis--but if we can do that he is almost worth keeping. Almost.

I meant by we would have an extra guard who is bigger than 6-1 and can swing instead of relying on Nate to be the third guard.

now you know I like JC's game (no, he's NOT a pg) but thats just tomfoolery. Somehow I think we might recover and be ok if we lost Crawford in a deal for Francis. Please.

He averages 9 and 5 and is solid defensively,at the very least he is more worth the contract than James is

Exactly. Jaric is now playing behind Anthony Carter. Yes, Thee Anthony Carter. Jaric is garbage, and only adds to the trash we already have in the backcourt.

So Minny would have essentially traded Sam Cassel for Jerome James??? Do you hear yourselves?

Also, Jaric is solid defender who is strong and steals the ball a lot.

I like Jaric- what about Mo T? He's shown some toughness.

Or, Malik Rose?

Obviously you'd need to balance out the deal- maybe add something like Ariza.

But I don't see us doing this if we just got Jalen-

Jaric to me is not a point guard. He is a shooting guard that can play point. I don't like the guy but he has some serious confidence. He thinks he is better than he is. He can steal the ball I know that. When he was in LA he was up there with the leaders.

JJ still has that Dampier type of game. Damp plays good when he feels liek it. Damp is playing well now cuz Diop took his starting spot. Maybe if JJ gets traded he will wake up and try to prove that he can play. He would be great as KG's sidekick.

I would do it. JJ is such a hack. He wants to be a finnese player when he has the ball and then he wants to be a killer when he doesn't. He has to find a balance and show some restraint. When will he find that balance?

The point of making a trade is to improve. Trading for Jaric is a lateral move. It does nothing but add more confusion. Marbury, QRich, Craw, Nate & Jalen. Where does Jaric get minutes?

Why would you trade Mo-T whose contract is done next year for Jaric who has 5 more yrs. Makes no sense.

his salary would count against our cap til 2010 so its not worth it. gotta somehow trade him
