Isiah Thomas has gone through 3+ coaches[probably more GMs get 5 years for] and 20 +players in two years. It was executive mis-management from Day i, starting with the starphuck of Marbury yadyada and ending with the star fck hiring of Larry brown--why did this club need a 10mm a year 65YO coach anyway?--You know why, because we star-phucked--

this is ALL isiah's mess and it trickles up to Mills and Dolan. Larry Brown should have never been here in the first place. If they didnt think they were headed for the playoffs[year right] they couldve signed a normal guy for 1.5-2mm a year for 2-3 years. In fact, what is wrong with Don Chaney? his credentials were fine

obviously, no one in Knicks' upper management thought they'd be in the bottom of the East this year... they brought LB in to bring this team to the next level (being a somewhat decent team)... obviously it hasn't worked, & much of it due to the mismanagement you're talking about... but they didn't bring LB in with the notion that they'd stink this year.

& enough w/the harkening back to Don Chaney stuff for crying out loud... what credentials does he have other than the fact that he's coached some pretty bad teams in his career?

Who could have been a good coach for young players, and still had the balls to stand up to Marbury? There are dozens of capable dudes. But not likes of Larry! This team would have buried Herb!

That was your choice. Herb or Larry. Take your pick.

HOF with Cred sells tickets.

Isiah himself was a starphuch hire. No sense to it other than his boyish smooth charms to restore the team in the public eye.

NOw we are on to plan "C".

Isiah is collecting talent with no blueprint.

I ask the same of him, as I did with Layden: What is the plan, and if you have one, don't panic, just stay the course.

half a season and we now tending to Larrys wish list.

My preference is to move any rookie that Larry does not deem worthy of his future.

I support the keeping of Frye and David Lee. Nate, Reezy, and Craw are expendable in my view. I prefer we keep QDog, but he may have some value. I could live with Butler also being traded, although Im not sure of his value. Im not sure about any of our guys value cuz we tend to overstate alot of things around here being unobjective fans.

Of course, Jerome should be moved if at all possible.

Come on Briggs. You're the one constantly saying we need to go grab Steve Francis.

Sure Isaiah might not have givin the knicks the talent they need to be tops in this league, but larry has to learn to dance with who brought him, even if it is a fat 7'1" slob. The knicks have the talent to play with 75% of this league. Its not zeke's fault we lose to the hawks by 30

The knicks some players who have potential but...

They don't have a single player on the team who is a better then average defensive player and many who are well below average.

They have a ton of high turn-over low assist guys.

And a lot of guys who are either new to the league or play like they are.

How does that equate to being able to play with 75% of the league?

PS - You can't dance with the players you got cause they can't dance with each other.

LB acts like he is above it all, the players suck, they don't give effort, yada yada yada... well how many games has this HOF coach won for us this year due to his genius? Someone please tell me?
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

So you mean to tell me the knicks dont have the talent to compete with the magic, lakers, celtics, hawks, wizards, blazers, sonics.... come on... a coaches job is to get the most out of the players he has. and if a coach cant get players to play for him... then...

Players win games. No one has earned the right to start sans Marbury and that is why we have had many different lineups. is it Larrys fault that crawford goes 3-12 every other night like he has is WHOLE career? Is it larrys fault Q-rich is shooting 30%?

Mo taylor wa sitting on Houstons IR as a roleplayer he wasnt a guy that can be counted on--Eddie Curry has 2 fouls 5 minutes into every game. channing frye has gone south for 20+ games

they dont play D the IQ isnt there what do you want the guy to do?

jalen will help at some point--but is jalen a guy that is counted on for long term success?

95% of this is on the players heads, no other way around it. no excuses

you want to the know a weird thing? I was surfing over to ClutchCity.net, home of the biggest (and best) Houston Rockets website out there, and saw a thread about how Houston fans hated the MoT deal and wish they could undo it or at least get some value out of it. I think they thought that NY got the better of the deal.

We didn't compete with New Jersey. They just
dominated every area.
