And all of a sudden here comes the K Mart talks. Hopefully we don't end up rookie-less after the deadline. We'll see what happens.

Monk you're right this is interesting, and it is reported. Newsday reports we are no longer interested in Martin but still want Watson and also reported in the Daily News we are talking to the Sonics about Evans and Flip (More interested in Evans than Flip)and are still very interested in KMart.

Real Gm is reporting the knicks are not INTERESTED in KMART.

I dont think even ISIAH is dumb enough to take on that contract.

I think LB actually likes the rookies. It is the vets on this team he cannot deal with. Crawford, MOT, James, Marbs

all these trades from here on is engineered from larry brown. if the rookies are traded that is because larry wanted them to be traded. I can see why he would want martin. but i can't see us having the assets to get him.

We have the assets, I mean rumour has Kenyon was offered to Chicago for Duhon! Duhon is a decent solid PG (dare I say a Larry Brown PG), but for KMart...his value is low.

TMS, I love Kenyon and his toughness and aggression too, and if it were based purely on that, I would go after it, but that knee thing scares the heck out of me. To me, that has McDyess written all over it. Denver screwed us once in a trade for a big man with a bad knee, I don't want it to happen again.

the knee thing scares me too... but something drastic needs to be done to turn this thing around... it's becoming clear to me that Channing Frye is never going to turn into the type of angry playing aggressive player that i want... he's a nice complementary piece to have, but this team needs a "heart & soul" type guy... KMart is just what this team needs imho.

Supposedly Denver trainer said he would be fine.. this was a natural progression. I have missed feelings. I hated watching KMart dunk on our weak ass frontcourt players. But mostly I was jelous we didnt have a guy that played with anything like that passion and intensity. Flip side is the bum knee and the McDyess fiasco, the Houston fiasco, etc.

I think you do the MRI. If he passes go for it. If you see something that scares you then you pass.

Karl is an NC guy and in cohoots with Brown on many things. I'm sure LB is well aware of all things Kmart. If Karl doesnt like him there's a good chance LB isnt a fan either. Who knows.
