karl had no idea about his knee

An optimistic view- I've read that the type of sugery e had usually takes up to ayear to completely heal, meaning next year he should be as close to 100 percent as he's ever going to be.


KMart plays w/the type of aggression & passion that i want to see more of in our current players... i'll take my chances as long as they don't give up Channing Frye to get him.

If the knicks trade away frye, i will personally do nothing about it except wonder what has happened to this franchise for the past 7 years

from KMart's perspective, I can almost see why he would pull this kind of thing. Both he and the Nuggs made a pledge to each other that they want a long time marriage. KMart gets hurt and has surgery, and most likely (and this is the key here) came back quickly and put as much into his return as possible. Sweat, blood, tears, pain, the whole nine yards. His return has not been 100%, as was expected for this type of surgery, and has probably effected his play, but he is (or may be) out there giving 100% to his team. And now the team wants to trade him. Understandable.

From the teams' perspective, maybe they made a booboo and don't think this guy will come back 100% or anywhere near his old form or maybe he will, so...better trade him while that outcome is still being decided.
