Isiah just asked for and received $34MM for Rose and a middle of the first round pick after he got MSG involved in a sexual harrassment and wrongful termination suit and you think he couldn't name whatever coach he wanted? Admittedly, I always thought that Dolan did interfere in some regards but it's become obvious that Isiah has free reign to do what he wants. Like Sather does.

What exactly was the criteria for Isiah hiring Brown to coach the team? That Isiah always thought that LB dressed nicely? Brown is an old coach, an old coach set in his ways and doesn't work well with kids. Everybody knew that before he was hired and we can only assume that Isiah knew the obvious. Ergo, if you want to blame LB then you have to blame the person who hired him, Isiah.

This just goes to every other move that Isiah makes. He just wants the big splash. He doesn't care or doesn't understand the importance of the pieces actually fitting together. His humongous ego gets in the way. He refuses to take one step back in order to go three steps forward. He wants all the glory now and doesn't want to deal with any of the adversity. Now instead of glory he's just trying to appease his critics.

By the way, did you figure out who I'm blaming?
