per a friend who knows Q1:

completely surprised when traded to the knicks this past summer

was building a home in PHX and engaged to brandy and loved playing for the suns

"it's hard coming to the Knicks from the Suns (a playoff team)"

personal issues are messing up this season (engagement break-off, trade, brother dying, etc)

the fact his game is off isn't helping things

Q1 doesn't like playing with one (or several) players on the Knicks and is not "Friends" with the Knicks like he was with PHX players

Q1 has numerous injuries (ankle) and on a day to day basis "can barely walk" and "COULD NOT WALK" the night before the Houston game

LB mentioned that "most guys would not even be playing now with the injuries Q1 currently has" (side note "LB is very nice")

Q1 lives far away from NYC (45 min drive minimum) but has a nice house

Q is lucky he hasnt been arrested for impersonating a NBA player.

Q was decent last year and then BOMBED in the playoffs - zero points especially in an elimination game. Q is currently doing his best Allan Houston combined with Fugazy impersonation. The Suns sure did a great job at hiding Q's injury by having him be a spot up 3-point shooter all year. Definitely friction between him and Marbs. When I asked the source about Q1 stepping to Marbs and almost fighting him, she was shocked that I knew about that...

I was personally SHOCKED about the ANKLE injury.

Q wants out but until he plays better you can't trade him.

yeah, I give him a lot of credit for playing hurt, but with his contract and uninsurable back, he's pretty much untradeable. he's been through a lot this year, I feel for him.

i feel bad for Q...he was ahving a good year and now coming into a mess liek this...really sucks....i hope he doesnt get traded tho..he's been playing good defense...and he plays wit his heart and actually plays with pride...i hope his offense comes around soon....

I'm a big q fan. I agree with what you said. I hope things work out for him but if the knicks can get better the team has to come first.

But like Martin said, he has to play better to get traded....but if his shots start to fall then the knicks could use him.

At least he gets to be extremely unhappy being 25 years old and making $7 million a year.

He's had two brothers murdered. I don't care who you are, that isn't easy.

The guy has done nothing. Without Nash freeing him up for uncontested 3's his game has been exposed. He ain't that hurt that he can't hit some shots now and then. BUST!

Apparently anyone who fights with marbury gets traded... but Q's value is just so low right now
