This is the current rumor with the Knicks trading Jamal and Channing for Earl Watson and Kenyon Martin. I would do everything in my ability, if Isiah, to not trade Channing and maybe trade someone else instead. I have not been watching Martin play in a while, so can anyone post a his numbers for the past three seasons?

NY Daily News - Isiah Thomas is committed to revamping the Knicks' roster by the Feb. 23 trading deadline and is considering making a bid for Denver power forward Kenyon Martin.

According to a league source, the Nuggets are shopping Martin, who will earn $65 million through the 2010 season. Denver has also contacted Chicago about Martin, whose contract and medical history will prevent more teams from pursuing him. Martin, acquired in a sign-and-trade from the Nets two summers ago, has been slowed by knee and back problems this season. Thomas has two weeks to trade Penny Hardaway's expiring contract and has been in conversations with the Nuggets about point guard Earl Watson. According to published reports, the Knicks, Nuggets and Magic are discussing a deal that would bring Watson to New York and send Jamal Crawford to Orlando.

If the Knicks try to acquire both Martin and Watson, Denver may ask for rookie Channing Frye in return. Up to this point, Thomas has sent word that he does not want to trade any of his three rookies

can't include Frye w/KMart's knees, but i'd give up any of the other young kids to get the deal done other than Curry.

Me and Joe32033 were chatting about it and he came up with some good ideas but they involved more than one team.

I would love K-Mart in NY to spite Kidd but not at the expense of losing Channing.

I would morph into Islesfan if this move was made. I can't imagine him entertaining something like that. Kenyon Martin? Come on man, if we lose Frye it better be in a package for KG or Brand or someone of that caliber, not a broken down max player whose game is all athletics.

KMart appears to be damaged goods now. McDyess, Larry Johnson, Penny, we have acquired enough of them already. Pass on KMart.

same things were said about Jason Kidd & Chris Webber in recent years too... both of them seem to be having terrific seasons... you can't really be comparing KMart to an over the hill Penny & LJ, can you? even McDyess has returned to be an effective player for DET... i think KMart still has alot left in him.
