it would have to be more than qrich+ariza.. if we can get rid of rose or JJ along with qrich in the deal then i wouldnt mind it.

wasn't there a rumor the Nuggets wanted Jerome James earlier this season? i have no idea why they'd want him, but I distinctly remember that.

.

well if they are trading kmart, and letting nene go to FA, they may need another big off the bench. one can only hope.

if Kmart was actually healthy, I would love this trade. and our long term salary commitment would go up, so everyone would be happy.

If Isiah trades for Martin, he is a bigger moron than I thought he was.

You really goint to think its a bad trade if its Q-Rich, Ariza and Mo T for KMart - Watson? What do we lose in that deal? It win-win-win. Ah long-term dollars big freakin deal.

It is a big freaking deal.

06/07 $11,818,182
07/08 $13,000,000
08/09 $14,181,818
09/10 $15,363,636
10/11 $16,545,454 - Player Option and you know he is going to pick it up.

You think its actually good to take on that kind of a contract with the salaries we have right now? Not to mention Martin is basically playing on one freaking leg. Its idiotic.

well, if its qrich+james leaving, the salary difference isnt much worse, and kmart is only 1 yr more than both qrich+james. i just worry about him re-injuring his knee.

IMO, its not idiotic, its a risk. A big risk. If the deal is true, he needs to be checked out thoroughly by the med staff to ensure he has a chance at a full time career. The upside is a great interior defender plays the fast break better then any other pf in the game, and a good backup pg. The downside is a lot of moolah doing nothing on our books for the next 5 years. Qrich is already on our books for that long, and anyone who think were going to let Mo T expire without either resigning or trading him is quite frankly delusional. As I said, how is this a lose situation, provided he is cleared by the meds?

Why would Denver take on James' contract? James is going to be here for a very long time.

Man, it's been my opinion that KMart's really been exposed in Denver. His career was made by JKidd and he's maybe 1/2 the player without him. Plus I'm real concerned about this health. His injuries are sounding chronic and degenerative to me. I would so pass on him.

yeah, that's a real bad trade for us. His knee has been a problem ever since he got to Denver. Plus, he can't get his own shot, his jumper is a thing of ugliness, and he can't handle the ball at all. He's a good but not great man defender, a decent help defender, an ok shot-blocker, and, when healthy, an above average rebounder.

Even when he's 100% healthy, I don't think he's worth a max contract. Now that he probably can't jump anymore, he won't dunk or be the intimidator that he's known as. I would pay him what McDyess is getting - no more.

A big to this rumor.

Oh I think Frye's got it. Those 30 point games were for real. He needs to be used right and needs to be more consistent. Wouldn't it be a trip if he ended up our 3 a la Rashard Lewis and Lee endds up our 4?????

Yeah, that would be something. I know they're just rookies and I shouldn't expect them to perform NOW. When you're starving and you have some seeds, you sow them. But man, I catch myself yelling at the seedlings going "GROW DAMN IT, GROW!!!!!!!"

We haven't been fed in a while, you know.

Well, trading for a player with possibly the worst active deal in basketball whom I happen to hate with all my guts just might be the final straw to haning in the Knickdom affiliation.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
