for jeff Mcginiss Mark Jackson and one of their 1s this year. Mo taylor would be a nice piece for them. I dont think they could do much better.

i dont want either of those players what about Mo T for a 1st pick and thats it lol unless they have an expiring deal.... I think we should start looking to trade all our players to teams that need that last little piece for expiring deals

this would be great for us, because those guys can help AND they're cheap, but that seems like alot for them to give up. I agree Mo would be a nice piece for them, but a #1 thrown in seems like a lot to give up. but i like this deal alot for us. we'd need to cut someone.

you're right, and I think the nets think that way to, thats why i said one of their 1s this year. salaries match up---NJ takes on no $ burden.
mo taylor is not a necessary piece for us going forward. Remember when the rangers just started hocking all their players for picks two years agoo--gave up leetchie etc... well that bore some fruit. they have a star in net and Jagr--all their guys play in the same style, they have great chemitry and defense. they got rid of the bigger brand names and went for chemistry toughnes and defense and it worked.

Yeah, I think surrounding Frye, Curry, Marbury with some defensive hardworkers is a good idea. They'll have enough offense with those guys. I really wish we had offered more money to a guy like James Jones last summer.

i think a Mo T to CLE trade for Eric Snow & Ira Newble would be more feasible... i don't see the Nets being interested at all to tell you the truth... he doesn't fit in w/their uptempo style at all... i think a team like CLE could use his physical presence down low, since they have so many perimeter shooters... he'd be a nice complement to Big Z in the post... the Knicks would get the backup PG LB covets, along w/a good defending SF who brings some intangibles, but they do take on longterm salary... fits right along w/Isiah's "cap savings plan".
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

There is no chance Thorn is trading for Taylor AND includes a #1.

id be willing to do a swappy thing--where we swap our SA 28 for the higher of their two 1s. they get to keep the two 1s but switch 7-8 slots.

i think tms' posting rights should be revoked for mentioning eric snow, ira newble and knicks in the same post without the word "NEVER".
