I like Rose playing SG with Q Woods playing SF. While Marbury's out, Rose may play PG actually. Rose is not a "natural" PG but he's a decent ball-handler and a MUCH smarter decision making than Nate or Jamal.

So we just paid about 30 mil to get another first round pick? I mean rose will be an expiring next year, he still can play and will have value, but man, that is a hefty price to pay for a mid first round pick...

I like this trade. The pick is very valuable and Rose is a savvy vet who can provide some fire power.

This move helps for those nights when Q and Jamal have nothing.

I'm excited about the pick.

Maybe it will be real low and Reddick will fall to the mid teens. I have always liked the Nuggets, but I guess it's time to root for them to suck.

I really don't like this trade unless its an unprotected pick. The knicks are 14-30, 16 games under .500 and right now are showing absolutely no signs of coming back to life. Jalen Rose is a nice player, would be a nice addition if this team were in thick of the playoff hunt but he's not going to bring the Knicks to the playoffs. This pick better be Torontos with absolutely NO lottery protection or else this trade was an absolute waste.

GREAT trade. rose's contract has no effect on us tryin to get under the cap in a few years. we unload antonio and kendra, get a better 1st than SA. and rose will help to improve our record slightly to make our pick to CHI increase. curry, frye and lee should get more minutes. once again, GREAT trade.

I have a feeling it is denvers pick, I hope it is TO's unprotected, why take on that much money for one more year, in salary and taxes to get an extra pick that is not a potential lottery pick....?

Even if it's Denver's pick, it's better than I thought actually. Denver's lost 4 in a row. They're only half a game ahead of N.O., which means their pick could easily be a lottery pick.

"Now"? Rose is a below average defender but he's not nearly as bad as Jamal and not nearly as easy to shoot over as Nate. I think we'll have "less bad" defense now. I wouldn't have done this deal without the draft pick, though. And even then it's only a slightly good deal. If it's Denver's pick, I'd give Isiah a B- on this trade.

You just guessing?
The pick is already top 5 or 6 protected. I'd be surprised/disappointed if Toronto added more protection to it.
