If the Knicks are smart they will offer the Olowokandi the full exception. This is why they should do this make the Clips sweat. If they don't match the offer after some time Olo becomes a Knick. With Miller their now their priorities will change because they still have to sign their Rookies Wilcox, Ely and Miller will want max contract after this year not to mention that Brand wants a max contract too. Everyone Knows how Sterling doesn't like to spend so the Knicks should make the offer at worst Clips match the offer. At best they get Olo or they put the Clips in a perdicament for next season with Miller and Brand if the match the offer to Olo.

Olowakandi want at least 8mil per year. Clippers want to give him 6. How is 4.5mil gonna make the Clipps sweat.

Not only that, but the clips have made a qualifying offer to Olowokandi at the beginning of the offseason worth roughly 6 million. No way will Kandiman sign a midlevel somewhere. If negotiations fail he'll take the qualifying offer and be an unrestricted FA next year when alot of teams have caproom available to give him a sweet contract.

Still, my guess would be that he gets a contract this season with the clips to keep the others at ease (Brand, Odom and now Miller) for their future paycheck.

Haha, my man. Listen bro, I'm with you. I think Kandi should be suiting up in orange and blue...lol, but he won't be anytime soon. He'll take the most money he can get, he's just that kind of player. I don't think He is too concerned about winning right now, maybe down the road. You are right about the Clipps, they should be wary now that they have two guys (Brand and Dre) who will be asking for max type money, perhaps a trade will send one of those guys somewhere in the future. Who is to say? One thing I know for sure, Kandi isn't making it to NY this season...
