I read on realgm that mullin is supposed to be ready to make a big move?

I know we are knick fans but what freakin trade is he gonna make?

Right away I can say they have some redundant players and can decide to try to upgrade the 3. Troy Murphy is a guy I see as expendable because of the youth they have at the 4.

What you guys think?

i think all their big deals can be had, most likely are murphy + jrich. if they move jrich, then foyle would be attached.

i could EASILY see us doing an AD + nate + ariza for jrich and foyle.

No idea what the trade might be. I've never been a Murphy fan, though. I think he's a terrible defensive player.

I never liked Murphy either. When you watch him play you hardly notice him. Then all of a sudden see him with 18 and 12. You're like when did he do that?

I'd be interested in j rich too but I don't think the knicks have a shot at him.

i would do that deal in a heartbeat. jrich is a great player. but i doubt GS is looking to move him.

this deal would get it done. they're looking to dump some contract dollars and they already have his replacement in pietrus. they have enough scoring and the foyle deal is death.

i'm not saying i would do it, but this deal would get done.

dont you think they'd rather move pietrus than jrich? there is only 1 yr difference, but jrich is much better.

Well that kinda is the joke of it all....Mullins can't make a major deal unless eh plans on dealing his core guys.....who can he get really?

I say move J-Rich cuz he can be moved for a player with similiar salary and Pietrus would still be around. They can move Troy and just give Ike the job full time....

The stupid thing is who can they get?

One guy that strikes me as an obtainable player is Paul Pierce. Danny would probably move Pierce if he was getting Troy. That would be a big splash.....

They seem like a team that is closer to being good that the Knicks.....what is the real problem over there in GS?

I think the best guy for Mullin to move is Dunleavy. He isn't as good as the hype. But his contract is huge.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Not thinking about the actual deal as such, but I think that a Crawford/JRich swap (obviously with other facets to the deal), would work brilliantly with our team. Notice how much better we do when Craw is playing well, and how poorly we do when he is off. Imagine having a reliable source of offense.

Ad/Jamal/Nate/JB for JRich/Foyle/Fisher (ok, maybe I was thinking about the actual deal a little), gives them huuuuuge cap savings, a backup point, a rugged big man and an adequate replacement (when I say adequate, I dont mean as good as) for JRIch. We get a shotblocker, a backup point guard who plays D and a serious threat at the 2.

Do they do it? Dunno, but I think JRich is worth the added salary, thats for sure.

IF this deal was on the table I think Zeke would do it. But tyou'd have to squeeze Q in there somewhere.

Mullin strikes me as a guy that is a ball buster when it comes to trades. He carries himself kinda arrogantly at least that's what I get from him.....like he is a know it all.

Whatever though......trying to get J-Rich is worth a try but they don't need Nate cuz they got that HS kid with the hops over there.

They could take AD's contract and try to cut some dollars and just hand Pietrus the starting job......it's possible. I can see them taking Ariza since he is a hometown guy.

All I gotta say is it's very possible to get J-Rich.....especially a guy that is like the West Coast version of Danny Ainge.

AD, Q-Rich, and Ariza for J-Rich, Fisher and Foyle works on the Realgm checker.

JJ's contract is bad but Foyles is worse!!! And to have both on the same roster would be terrible.....you know if J-Rich is coming the Knicks are gonna have to take it in the ass too...

Still with Woods coming along hopefully and J-Rich with Marbs and Craw in the back court with Fisher.....is it worth it?

After the Dampier episode, I don't think Zeke has Mullin on his speed dial and vice versa..

Does it bother anyone else that there are so many GM's that Zeke has a bad history with?

I never heard of Zeke and Mullin having a bad history. Mullin simply turned down a trade offer. That happens all the time in this league.

Im thinking we let the deals exprire.

Its one thing to not be .500 but to do so with 120 million in payroll is comical.

We would have to some deal we cannot refuse.

Warriors on paper have a nice team. Is their crap any better than our crap?

Jrich would like nice in blue and orange. I don't believe he's available, but I'd take him or Pietrus. We need a big wing like that.
