all this crd this morning about curry this frye that--i will reiterate--teams function as units. its how the unit performance that makes a difference--there is no kobe bryant on this team. either they play hard together or they lose badly---this is just disguting basketball again--but they dont seem to care much.

the next phase of player infusion must be catered towards defensive players.

My eyes are on Hilton Armstrong from the draft--Chuck hayes from houston--see how he performs the rest of the way--but if he plays like this hes got to be on the radar [cheap FA] and we need to find a consistent smart guard who plays both ways 3 guys to integrate in

In my opinion, the biggest problem is when Nate starts...It just kills them defensively...Steph has to defend a bigger guard with one arm..Salmon is 6' 7"...

Nate is a turnover waiting to happen...If he isn't giving you anything offensively then there is no point keeping him in the game...

nate plays real good in small spurts, but thats what his role should be, a 4th G who play 8-10 minutes as a spark plug combo G. he started off the game with a few nice passes and a nice clean drive--then when he gets into his one man act--he was getting bibbped.


we need some balance--we need some toughness some length on the interior we need a primary wing defender and a more consistent guard.

obviously we cant go forward with both q and craw-one HAS to go

I agree Briggs, nate tonight played like a idiot,he forgets about the post players and goes one one one too much, he should be a 8-10mpg player and if he is not on, then he rides pine, if he is on, ride him until he cools off, and the same thing with taylor, he was off tonight on both offense and defense and when that happens with mo taylor, you must take him out. Also Q woods looks like the real deal, forget his scoring which he can do, but he can rebound like a beast, is getting better defensively, can handle the ball and is explosive, we do need this break.

I agree we need some smarter players, in all honesty teams know if you pressure the knicks hard enough, you can get them rattled and that we just don't know how to get the ball into curry.. we just don't.

BTW: I am watching the warriors and Blazers and Travis outlaw just threw Diogu's dunk attempt back in his face..lOL.. WOW!!!

Agreed. This team does not play good team defense and has not a single player I would consider a good individual defender.
