LongIslandKnicksFan - nah, he's taller and stronger than Spree. But he plays with passion. I like that.

Are you feelin' the Qyntel wave yet?

When I first saw Woods play, I liked his energy but just thought he needed more time.

I hope he can do it consistently or even more often than not. Once he proves than I suppose I wont have any reason not to jump on his bandwagon.

You aren't the guys who dissed Woods! I am! (I guess.) Yeah, I didn't want the Knicks to take him because of the animal abuse thing.

I never said anything about his game because I didn't know anything about it. Anyway, the kid is a Knick now, and no doubt he has talent. I also think his troubles are behind him.

There. I "manned up".

Woods' O was nice. Still having problems seeing if he is OK or not on the D side of things.

islesfan - 12-06-2005 Can Ruben Patterson and any of the other Jailblazers be far behind?

Is anybody else disgusted at how we can only bring in players that other teams have no interest in? What a freaking joke

Knight - Character issues aside, I think this guy is a big-time talent and is going to really give us some punch and versatility at the SF position. I'm very anxious to see him play, I just think he's going to shine for us and bring some energy to our team.

Ira 12-06-2005 Basically, the way to look at a move like the Wood signing is that we didn't give up anything. So if Woods doesn't turn out, we didn't lose. If he matures and plays up to his potential, it could be a plus - maybe a big plus.

newyorknewyork 12-06-2005 - I think Q Woods is the type of player we need to take a risk on. He may not work out at all for us. Im not saying he is going to be a stud or anything.

But we need someone who is cappable of handling the scoring load at G/F. Q.Woods has the size and talent to be able to do so if he were to work out. Maybe if he works hard in practice and we let him get looks he ends up fitting and do well in his role. Maybe not. But as a fan I hope for the best.

Masterplan 12-06-2005 - i have a problem when we outbid ourselves for players no one else wants. but picking up guys like dermarr, jackie butler, jermaine jackson, and now qyntel on the cheap, it really is low risk, possibly high reward. let's see what the kid does.
