B - Baseline grade for an average NBA starter. These grades do not take into account potential or curve based on youth. They are just a comparison of their level of play compared to an average NBA starter.

C+ CURRY - Good Scorer. Improving but so-so rebounder. Bad passer, to many turnovers, weak defender

C- Davis - Knows how to play. Good leader. Physically no longer has the ability to be a solid starter.

B MARBS - Slow start but coming on. Good offensive player. Not a great leader. Still a below average defender.

C CRAW - Has skills. Streaky player Bad decisions, weak defender.

C Frye - Good scorer. Can improve inside game. Needs to box out better. Weak defender.

D Nate - High energy player. Seems to be able to shoot the three. Bad decision maker. Below average defender.

D+ Lee - Good Rebounder. Hustle player. Hasn't found any consistent offensive game. Weak Defender.

D Rose - Has intangibles but has not found a role on this team he can fill consistently.

D Q - Has valid excuses -injuries and family tragedies. But hasn't produced.

F James - What can I say.

C+ MoT - A pleasent surprise. Not a great passer but can score, has done a decent job on the boards. Still a below average defender.

D- Ariza - Really has not gotten it together. Could be an excellent defender - but isn't. Offense extremely raw.

Briggs looks like we're grading on a different scale. On my scale those grades would indicate a .500 team - or pretty close to it. A "B" on my scale is an average starter in the NBA not an average player. Is that the same scale you used? On another forum you talked about how Marbury was the only player you could expect any consistency out of - and I agree with you. So how do Curry, Frye, Taylor, Lee earn B- to Bs?
