I stand by my screename. Bynum, without question will be the better player 3-4 years down the line, whilst Frye is shaping up to be a jumpshooting big man in the vein of SAR. Major flaws with his defense and positioning. He tries hard, so maybe he'll get it, but that can be said of most of our players. Bynum has a ton more upside, and I would still pick him over Frye, who I feel does not have the capacity to be a franchise talent (he was the safe pick).
Frye has less to do with us being terrible than Captain incompetent's (Isiah Thomas') bad news bears collection of chuckers, overpriced veterans and "high-potential", inconsistent projects. The team's future is vested entirely in Eddie Curry, and will go the way his development does- if he doesn't become an all-star level big man on both ends, we are sunk for quite a while.
