is lamar odom a good piece to have or would he be another inconsistant, low IQ, one way player that we would bring in here?

his best year was with miami where he shot a career high 47% but is about 44% over his career. that's not a great percentage from a SF/PF. he does rebound and he does give you some dimes so he is versatile but is he the type of player we should target for the SF spot?

Odom is very good. He would be the second best player on our team.

There's no way the Lakers would trade with us. They would want an established veteran, don't need a point guard with Kobe running everything. We have nothing to offer them.

I'd rather see him continue to fight with Kobe.

Lamar never struck me as a low IQ player. Maybe his defense hurts, but I'll take him on my team, anyday. Playing WITH Kobe in that triangle offense hurts too, btw, especially when he's kinda scoring 81 points in a game.

i think you could easily get Lamar Odom if you offered them Frye in return along w/cap filler, but there's no way i would make that trade if i'm Isiah.

C'mon Lamar and Kobe combined for 89 points in their last game - they're not going to break up a combination like that.

I like Lamar, but not for what it would cost us. He can do alot, but scores 15 points per. He is an underachiever, he is the second option on that team, he should have at least 20 ppg.

I agree Lamar is an underachiever but I'd still take him if we didn't have to give up Curry, Frye, or Marbury (maybe)

He is the second coming of Tim Thomas! All the tools to be a great player, but never lives up to expectations!

Lamar spends to much time smoking that sweet cheebah to care about being a dominant player in the NBA. Playing with Kobe really helps because he can still get blowed and watch Kobe play the other team while he facilitaes the passing. Passing is what all cheebah heads excel at....puff, puff pass....puff, puff, pass.

He's better than Thomas in every way.

No way is Odom a low IQ player nor is he one dimensional. Lamar has the ability to secure a triple-double almost every game. He can score inside or out, he is a heck of a rebounder, can run the point forward, has great floor vision and is a very good passer.

He is 2 times better than Tim Thomas. Did you watch Odom in Miami. He was phenomonal. Averaged a near double double and had a few triple doubles. He without a doubt was the team leader. Its kind of hard to into a rhythm when playing next to Kobe.

Odom was Larry Browns favorite player on the olympic team. This guy can literally play four positions on the court. I'd take him in a heart beat.

Ive always liked Lamar. He's got a PGs handle, he rebounds well and he can certainly put the ball in the basket. He's a pretty rounded player. Good defender in crunch time also... uses his length well. Not so much the other 45 minutes
