Granted he's from the only team whose defense is worse than NY's, but he's up there as a rebounder w/ B Wallace.

if we got him I think he'd be our starting PF next to curry instead of AD... Before the season I would've wanted it, but we're already a pretty good rebounding team. I'd give them someone who was out of our rotation, like ariza or JJ.

Penny and Ariza for Jalen, James, and a #1....
JJ and Butler for Evans and Potapenko?

Curry/Potapenko
Evans/Frye/Taylor
Lee/Q1/q2
Rose/Crawford
Marbury/James/Nate

Only reason i did it that way is Evans has a trade restriction. He signed a 1 yr deal which gives seattle his bird rights after the season instead of the traditional 3 yr example. rEALGM wouldn't let me include him in a trade so I had to play it by ear....

Q2 and Butler may work for as little as it says Evans is making. Potapenko is unhappy too behind Petro and Swift, he said a while back he was unhappy too....Mo Taylor make WAY too much money...

Q1 and Butler for potapenko and Evans may also work.

He'd give us the toughness we need but his feet are slow and he brings no shot-blocking and not much help defense. If they'll take peanuts for him in a trade, I'd do it.

JJ works if we get Potapenko back. Malik makes too much. I may do Q1 and Butler for Evans, Potapenko, and a 2nd rounder

I like him a lot. Amazing that his playing time has been pulled out from under him.

what reggie evans brings is rebounding...and that's it.
so if you bring him here, we will still have roster issues.
why? b/c he's another one way player.
so you're still going to be yo-yoing between him, frye, and mo.

plus, he makes next to nothing, which means we'll have to trade on of the 22 and younger crew for him.

i'd wait till the season is over and see what he's worth on the market.

i'd may consider this tho:

JJ + ariza for fortson + evans

reason? b/c it gets rid of jj's contract. but i would consider it...

Seattle wants nothing to do with Jerome James and its not just his contact

it would have to be Evans for Nate or Ariza at the very least. I'm sure there are a lot of teams looking for a rebouding PF. I rather not do it because like you said it's adding yet another flawed one-dimensional player who could possibly be had for cheap in the offseason. He's the kind of player you add for a playoff run like when the Spurs, a complete team, added Nazr.

I'd give them Ariza + Butler but thats it

I doubt they would trade both Fortson and Evans in the same deal. too much rebounding. I think they would try to package Potapenko. But that is just my opinion.

I would include Ariza for in this deal. I honestly have to bring this up in this conversation...A bunch of teams said Rodman and Wallace were one dimensional to. He would be here to be a defender and rebounder. nothing more.

if only he knew how to play defense and even Wallace isn't a liability offensively because he's so athletic around the basket. Rodman was a shutdown defender

Wallace hasn't averaged 10 points per yet (He averaged 9.7 last year), this year he is at round 8. Right now Evans averages 7.6. If Wallace isn't an offensive liability, you can not qualify Evans in that way. Rodman was prolly the best rebounder of our time.

Wallace plays next to Rasheed. Oakley averaged 9-10pts playing next to Ewing but he was not a liability on offense. Wallace is also an incredible shotblocker/rebounder. If Evans was even a little bit similar to those players he'd be starting but he's one dimensional. At least he does one thing well unlike Ariza/Malik/Butler/JJ. At least he'll take their places in the rotation but he might not even start over AD because of his defense so it would be kind of redundant

no sense in trading for Evans as long as we have AD & Malik on this squad... he'd just be more dead weight... he'd be a nice piece to a larger deal if we could unload Malik or JJ in the process, but we all know that's not going to happen.

I agree with TMS. On another team REggie would be great. On our current team he would be just another role player exposed by having to do things he's not comfortable doing. Without Malik and the gang he makes a lot of sense, but with them we should be focusing our attention elsewhere.
I just hope that people will like me
