I dont know about this, david lee seems to be the type of player we need, (a rebounder), generally I would only trade someone like him to get rid of a bad contract, but I suppose this trade might make sense, what kind of player is childress anyway?

hes a lengthy athletic 3 who can rebound defend hes 6-8 hes got an akward shot but scores at a high%. i think david lee and frye are our only trade assets. maybe lee would be better suited for his career to play high tempo 4. we need some length on de, especially on the wing.

two players they have no need for. i dont think the knicks like josh smith. we may just have to be patient with what we have until the draft.
i like david lee, dont want to get rid of him, but we dont have to work with to improve.

Does Ariza have any trade value at this point?

after thinking about it I say no. david lee is a more valueable asset than josh childtress. 3 point shooting isnt something we need enough to make such a deal.

EXACTLY.. A Defensive minded, highlight reel. a legit 6-9 and fearless. Seems to me that you should run this one by Isiah, Fish.

Childress is only athletic. His shot really sucks. We don't need him. Lee is a basketball player who will only get better. We can't panic and make bad moves.

i dont want to trade lee either but were not in a great position with assets. we need some length on the perimeter, some guys who have long wingspans who can get off their help to get to these 3pt shooters. we also could use length in the frontcourt.

hes very lengthy, but what I think atlanat may do is dump harrington and go with marvin smooth and chill in the same line up.

Both are SF's. plus they still have Josh Smith. This just highlights even more why this team should have taken Paul with the pick

I've heard Josh Smith, character-wise, is on par with Isiah Rider. I've heard some bad things
about his ability to learn and be coached. I'd pass on that one, not because of his talent but
the other stuff.

Two years away, Trevor is the same player. Bad deal. Your a bit reactive here.. with this bad stretch.

I highly doubt it as in trevor. As for David Lee, I would do it, but I highly doubt Atlanta would.

childress is not a bad player at all, but one thing about lee we do know, is that he will rebound regardless of what he does offensively, that alone makes him more valuable to the knicks than childress, although I really like childress, he is nota bad player at all. Josh smith is a freak athlete, but a scrub ball player...
