I did not see the play where Wally cliped Marbury.

Any thoughts as to Marburys claim it was deliberate?

on regular television, it was a strong pick.
on hdtv, you could see wally pull out a billy club and wack marbury on the shoulder.

ahhh, the wonders of high definition television...

Marbs said it wasn't stationary. Wally gave him a jolt in the shoulder as he went by.

it was definitely a hard pick, but Q helped make it hard by pushing Wally into Steph. I don't think it was dirty.

Wally definitely braced his shoulders in order to make the pick more foreceful.

It was a hard pick but it wasn't dirty. It was just bad luck that Steph's shoulder got hit as a certain angle to injure it - could have happened to anyone.

What WAS dirty was the ref calling a foul on Q for "pushing" Wally into Steph. Q was about three feet away from Wally and didn't touch him. I know the NBA doesn't like to call fouls on white players so when the whistle went they had to call it on Q, but this call was too fraudulent to tolerate.

Maybe true, but I wondering if Marbs is doing the blame thing again.

Pretty boy soft Wally set a clean pick and blew his shoulder is tough for Scowlboy to swallow!

Wally definitely braced his shoulders in order to make the pick more foreceful.

That is what Wally is supposed to do, otherwise he bears the brunt.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

There was a time our guys set solid picks like that and we loved them for it.

Sad day when we have to wish our guys were as tough as Wally.

It was clearly not a regular pick. Usually a player gets picked off by bumping into the body of another guy who's standing still, arms down. Wally's pick on Stephon resembled a hockey check more than a basketball pick-- he had his arms up and made contact with his shoulder, and he was moving into Steph when the contact was made. So I can see why Stephon would be pissed. I'm not sure if Wally was pushed or not, but on replays it does look like the hockey-check-like pick was mostly unintentional-- he looked like he was kind of stumbling and the look on his face suggested he picked up his arms and stuck out his shoulder to brace himself for an unexpected impact. But of course that's not something Stephon could have recognized on the court as it was happening.
