Guns- Artest is a 6'7 260lb sf. He's versatile enough to give some minutes in the backcourt but he is a Sf. So Marbury, James and Craw could still work but It's still too small

no one is questioning his abilities, just his personality.

He'll be a free agent in 2 yrs. I think he'll calm down at least until he reups his contract. I say, go get him. Gives Knicks wing scoring and wing defense which is something Knicks need desperately. With Curry scoring in the middle, you don't need much out of your PF other than rebounding, maybe some shotblocking and good help defense.

thats right what am I thinking. it would be:

PG-Marbury/James
SG-Crawford
SF-Artest

Artest can shutdownn the other teams best perimeter player regardless of size

I think a starting SG would let us have a normal size 1&2. If Craw could play more consistently I think Nate might be able to run backup point. BUt for now that isn't the case and so we gotta have Marbs guard SGs which we give up alot of height. Then again if we don't defend the pick and roll better, we'll be seeing Nate guarding DIrk all season long. Ron would be great, adding a perimeter defender and a start SF;both of which we sorely lack.

huh? Don't tell me we're still going on Steph's not a PG again.

I still think we need a PG more.

another pg would allow us to have a normal sized backcourt, as well as enable us to move crawford to sg full time. and I didnt say that becuase I didnt think steph wasnt a pg. he does an okay job of running it. I guess a player with ron's skills would be really important (although I still dont think the knicks should go after him), but this team wont go anywhere with crawford at pg becuase crawford is not a pg. we really only have one if you consider steph one.
