After watching him today do you think Jalen is better then he is playing this season? Do you want him here?
Yes, he's tanking and he could help this team.
No, this was an abberation, he's shot.

if this team was meant to be a defensive jauggernaut, the only guys known for playing D night in and night out wouldn't be 37 34 and 33.

Rose would provide everything Q was supposed to be doing on our team.

1.Outside shooting
2.A solid post game
3. clutch shooting
4. We wouldn't need a backup pg because Rose can play point during spurts of the game.

What exactly is Penny doing for us in his spare time with his almost 16 mil this year? Playing pocket pool in Houston?

At least his contract expires afeter the season. I think it's time to make the payroll more efficient.

rose is not just $16 mil NEXT year but ANOTHER $16 mil in luxury tax. but who cares right? it's not our money

Steps in that direction can still be taken. If AD's and Penny's contracts are allowed to come off that cap, that's around $24 million. That seems significant to me.

I'm no Rose fan but would be our best SF by a mile and has only one extra year on his contract. This team might be 18-17 right now instead of 13-22 if it had Rose. He might be plan L or M with the expiring contracts if I ranked the plans alphabetically.

I do think that if we did get Rose there would be a pick envolve in some way or the trade would simply not happen. But you are right as far as the payroll. However if we did get Rose, Houston's contract, Rose, Shandon, and Mo's contract would all come off the same year.

I don't total disagree with you. I just don't think getting Rose is as bad as people think.
