Raptors are only 3 games (1-2) removed from their 5 game winning streak. They are fresh off of a win and want to prove that their streak wasn't a fluke. They lost ot the nets on a last second shot, and been playing tough lately, these are not the old raptors. Meanwhile our Knicks are trying to sustain a streak that has inspired them and built some confidence. Knicks should win this, our team is better, period. A loss here would be devastating because we have KG and Minny the next day at 1.

I want the knicks to blow this one open so that our guys are fresh for Minesota. Larry should use alot of the bench tonight. Think about using some Malik tonight again and maybe Q or Trevor against Wally for Minny.

Mike James was just the player of the week and was really lighing it up, Nate's D on him will be key.

Steph, Craw and Curry really should not have many problems scoring on these guys. Frye vs. Charlie V will be a matchup I am very interested in. Frye seems due for a 20 point performance and I think Toronto is the perfect team to do it against. Control the tempo, rebound, and exploit their mistakes and we should win easily, this is a poor defensive team.

COME ON LUCKY 7!!

It's going to be a good game. The Raptors also have guys that could light it up off the bench. Jalen Rose might have a big game against his former coach Larry Brown. Our perimeter defense is also weak. Curry is one huge advantage. We will all see tomorrow.

the hardest match up will be AD on Bosh Lee will take care of Graham because he isnt a big offensive threat. They will have trouble guarding the Knicks

I wouldn't look past Minny so easily, although it is clearly a winnable game. But they are good and its an afternon game of a back to back.

well...like always keys to the game

Defense
-Watch for their perimeter threats, they got guys that can launch the 3ball,we can let penetration either.
-let bosh get his, but we cant let james, rose, peterson or villanueva get theirs

Offense
-pound the ball in the post....we can easily outmuscle their players.
-Stpeh,craw,nate should have good games as torontos defense isnt that great.
-i wouldnt be suprised if Q has a god game 2morrow, if heplays that is

overall this game can go both ways, but we need to stick to our recent recipe forsuccess, meaning move the ball, play defense and make defensive stops when it matters.

I also think the raptors will be bringing it. People just can't sleep on this team. They are like the bobcats in that way cuz they can make good teams look silly on any given night.

Mike James is a guy that I just see going off. Mike James dropping 30 is not out of the question.

I still think the knicks will win. Its gonna be good.

I'll be AT the game
I was friends with a Raptors fan in 2000 and 2001 when we played them in the playoffs. The dood wouldnt stop about how cool of a sports city Toronto is. I did some research and it is indeed pretty damn big on sports. Here is my question: What is the biggest sport in the city? Is it straight up hockey '?' or can basketball or baseball compete for ratings/popularity. Are there many Knick fans there in Toronto?

I live about an hour from Toronto; I don't know about what the biggest sport is in Toronto, but where I live, it's still Hockey. However, basketball is still very popular where I live and can definitely compete for ratings.

Are there many Knick fans there in Toronto?
NO, not at all. There's a few, but it's people who, like me, grew up in NY. I don't think I've met even one person who (a) lives in/near Toronto, (b) is not from NY, and (c) likes the Knicks!

I was planning to where my Frye jersey but a Raptor fan told me I'd get a lot of trouble from fans because the Frye-CV debate is intense. I may just where my Marbury jersey.

Should be a good, tough game. One they could easily lose if they are not prepared......That being said:
Let's keep adding to new chapters

Believe it or not, this might be the most difficult game we have played in 06. Two Hot teams looking to continue where they left off. I really hope the knicks do not come to the Air Canada Center and play Toronto like they played the Hawks, because we played the Hawks like they were the Hawks. We need to play every team like they are the SpurS.
Come on Knicks lets not get over confident...lets keep it rolling

Raptors bring lots of energy to every game they play. This worries me because the Knicks didn't seem to have lots of energy in the Hwkas game although they did in spurts. After the Game, Brown was worried that the Knicks are tired from playing so many tough games without having many days off.

If Knicks can match the energy of the Raptors, they should be able to have a shot at pulling it out at the end.

We gotta take this one with James out. Calderon looks like a special rookie (haven't seen him play much yet) but I think Steph should be able to take advantage of him on the offensive end if he stays aggressive.
