I'm watching him on NBAtv right now. He's ENORMOUS. I've never seen him this fat. He was 320 his freshman year and he could easily be within 20 of that again.

The thing is, he is getting older not younger. So expect him to keep on gaining weight. To think people still call Curry fat.

Curry is in MUCH better shape than Sweetney. It's not even close. Curry needs to lose another 10 pounds. Sweetney needs to lose 40.

Agreed!
Curry is also quick on his feet and usually blows by his opponent. Sweetney barely gets up. I really don't see Sweetney as a starter in this league for too long like most Knicks fans do.

I think it's evidence of how good a coach Mark Aguirre is that Sweetney didn't blow up as a Knick.

I haven't seen Sweets in a while but I always felt his weight would be a greater limiter on him than his height. And of course the combination is a killer. Plus, weight only gets harder to shed as the years go by - he better get it in check before it takes over his career.

Pity, though I was never on the "Sweets will be the next Elton Brand" bandwagon, he was a guy I found easy to root for.

''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

dude looks like a blimp, but he cant be that out of shape, since he got 9pts, 11reb tonight versus the pacers in nearly 30 minutes of playtime.

He seems extremely out of chape there compared to his time in NY...
