Anyone watching the game today is watching Hilton pass Josh Boone on the draft boards.
I just hope that people will like me

Yep, I saw most of the 1st half and I checked here to see if anyone made a thread yet on him. The guy is a beast and his value is definitely rising. He has really come a long way.

I almost don't want him to play too well - I want him bad at 28,29 when we pick. We could use him, epscially with Jerome James being a total waste of time. I'm just afraid he'll be gone if he keeps playing this way. Another good game today against G-Town. This boy has arrived! A little bit of a late bloomer but definately gonna be an impact player at the next level. Were gonna get a decent player at that spot, especially with Isiah at the controls. I have complete faith in Zeke come draft day. I either want Hilton or a good swingman like Hassan Adams. Hassan's a little small for the 3 spot but his strength and power-style more than make up for it and make him a nice pick for the Knicks, if he's even still there. And I definitely don't know about any of these European players that are projected to go in the late 20s...Anyone have anything on these guys? Marcus Vinicius? Thabo Sefolosha? Damir Markota? Vladimir Veremeenko? Panagiotis Vasilopoulos? Total crap shoot I guess right?
I don't think we need another point guard. Our core guards of Steph, Nate and Jamal are as good as any team's, pound for pound. We don't need another ballhandler in a trade or in the draft. I can't believe they think they need that?!?! The last thing I want is an Eric Snow, Kevin Ollie or Earl Watson taking playing time away from Nate or Jamal. I think the Knicks biggest weaknesses are the 3 and another solid bigman - a real banger/interior presence. Hilton Armstrong would be perfect...You guys all see it that way too or am I nuts?

I was hot on him but he is moving into lottery status. In fact, right now, Id say Hilton was only behind Sheldan Williams and Lamarcus Aldridge and if he continues at this pace, its going to be a conversation about him at a VERY VEYT high level of the draft, because he is a legit 6-11 1/2 250.

I want to get a big as well from our spot. I know davis is gone and you can get players from any position, but big men are HARD to find. Eric Williams was on of the four guys I wanted for 30 last year and he has since worked himself into great shape. he has led the ACC and now the entire NCAA in FG%+ he is starting to realize he can be a great rebounder to with his 7-4 wingspan an his quick first jump. he is a lively 280. I dont see a guy at 27-28-29 better than him.

Look at the shape this guy is in now.
He has bigger shoulders than the very muscular antonio davis

Not only is Hasaan Adams too small to play Sf, he's almost too small to play 2G. He's only 6'4. He's athletic and strong and plays a little bigger than he is so he could give some quality minutes at the 2 if he's there. But if Rush is there, I'll snatch him up over Adams. Rush has the potential to be a better all around player than Adams. he's better on the perimeter.

NBA scouts love late-bloomers like Armstrong. If your a late bloomer, that means your still getting better and learning the game. Late bloomers (Dalembert, Olajuwon, David Robinson etc. ) all picked up the game late and continued to get better and better. Scouts hate guys that seem to have peeked too early because they seem to level out after a while (Felipe Lopez, Kenny Anderson, Pearl Washington) all of those guys were phenoms since HS and never seemed to get better.
