I cannot believe Penny for Francis is going around, that sure sounds whack, but I would do it in a second.

Any rumor of why he was suspended?

I have no idea what he did. I like what Mike Dunleavy said. Just get me the talent and Ill figure it out and now they are getting Ron Artest. Isiah has taken some chances and hes hit on soem big ones. Obviously Stevie Francis is a huge talent.

the other thing with steve francis is hes talented enough that we arent locked in to him like we are with q and jerome. if we could get him for an ending contract, i would do it in a second. nate will be a good player, but not as good as steve francis or even in his area code

Damn man I knew I should have traded him in my fantasy team
Steve Francis is a huge talent but he is a bitch. Meaning he is a pre-madonna. Check his stats.....he has been sucking on purpose. I seriously thought it was going to be drugs or something but I just think he doesn't like Orlando and wants out. Technically they don't need Francis. Jameer Nelson is ready to be the starter since LAST SEASON.

Knicks don't need him but I would not cry if we got him.

Memphis currently needs a point guard. Clevland could use the extra scorer. Atlanta could use Francis. Dallas would take him. Minnesota definately would take Francis.

Make it happen......for fantasy fans everywhere

Vince Carter dogged it and look at the payout for NJ. A three guard line up of Crawford Francis and Marbury would be the most potent in the league--we would be on par with anyone.

I was positing that the Knicks could get Francis way back in training camp, but he seemed to be playing the good soldier so I forgot about it.

If the Knicks could get Francis there might be ball-hogging problems between he and Marbury, but then again, maybe not.

I don't think the Knicks could get Francis for just expiring contracts. I think more realistic would be Crawford + contract(s) for Francis.

I would do it in a second if it was possible, bring NR off the bench, q1 too if he is still here, and try to find a serviceable backup point guard.

For Penny?

I don't really like him much as a player, and don't think he really fits here, but at that asking price, there is not one single reason not to do it.

nah, im not interested in trading craw at all. many teams will shy away from his salary. this would fit under my personal criteria as a guy who i would spend the money to acquire using an ending contract. hes an impact player. wed have the fiercest 3 man guard line up in the legue.

Franci here might be 1 too many players who need the ball. However this might be the perfect opp to facilitate a trade using Penny's contract and get a starting 3 in return

Penny Butler Dahntay Jones to Orlando

Francis Battie to Memphis

Mike Miller and Lorenzen Wright to NY
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

I think SF is one of the most overrated players

Its hard to say why I wouldnt do that kind of trade. Nate is essentially a mini SF, so why not the real thing. Maybe I just like the way these guys are playing and want to see how real and how far this winning goes before I move guys

You got the right Idea......Maybe the Knicks can get involved in that and get that small forward.

Many people said the same about Crawford for Vince Carter last year. While Crawford has shown flashes of brilliance, I don't think anyone would argue that Francis is not a far better player. To think we would get all three at the same time is a nice dream but it is unrealistic.

And I think that thinking we could get Francis for a pack of big league chew is unrealistic. You have to give some value to get some value. Part of the attraction to me of Crawford for Francis is dumping JC's nutty contract. (I don't know what SF's is.)
