IT should lose his job if he gives any of these kids up, we need to stand pat and the only players he should consider trading are Penny, AD, Ariza, Butler, Q, and on a lesser scale Craw....

The rookies are looking like another trio we used to have on a lesser scale, Frye is a big man with range and a will to get better and bring it every night, Lee is a good rebounder that isn't afriad to mix it up, he has better fundamental skills and hops than the oakman and could develop into something similiar, and Nate Rob has starks fight in him.....

These guys all like each other and want each other to do well and all want to get better that how you win in this league with a team, now if we can continue to get curry on the same page we might be in business......

Target Wilcox (Ariza?), Artest (Craw and Ariza?) Q for Patterson?

I'll take losing as long as the kids are meshing and looking like a team, and this is no fluke, back to backs vs. two good teams doesn't usually happen

You know how Brown had Lee sit for the first 20 games? I think Brown is doing the same with Butler (plus Butler has AD, Frye, Lee, Rose, etc ahead of him).

agree with MS and martin. I think we should stick with this team. Let Penny and AD come off the books at the end of the season. Dont make any trades. If possible, trade Q for a shooting guard that can shoot and we are done. Let this team develop.

Robinson is a little too confident at times. He jacked up 14 shots last night and missed 11. He over penetrates, forces things too much and he tries to make a highlght play everytime he touches the ball. I like him, but he's a situational player. Shouldn't be playing more 12-15 min per.

I would trade Ariza in a heart-beat if the right deal came along.

oh, I wanted to add: Frye, Lee, and Robinson don't really compare to Ewing, Oakley, Starks. I would compare then to the 70's championship team's character, with all due respect to the higher-level quality. Maybe the old guys around here can reminisce for us and break down the similarities.

totally disagree. Well, not totally. Nate did jack a few shots, and he will learn to tone it down, but on a lot of his drives to the basket the defense collapsed on him and although he put up the layup or whatever, the Knicks got the O rebound and put it back. That's OK in my book.

I'll never fault anyone for taking the ball strong to hoop. and your right he does create opportunites for Offensive revounds but I perfer him to penetrate and dish to Curry or Frye underneath like he actually showed a few times about a week ago. Last night, I thought he reverted back to the old Nate, thinking he's Iverson. Dallas is a horible rebounding team. Against a better rebounding team those misses wont turn into O rebounds. Penetrate and dish.

I see that. Nate is improving, so it's all good. And at times he does have the dish working, but Curry and Lee and Frye have to learn spacing around the hoop while Nate flies in to that he can dish to them with the clog of arms.

True. Problem is, Nate doesn't seem to know what he's going to do with the ball so I doubt they know when he's gonna come flying in. But you make a good point

if they keep looking for teammates with higher percentage shots, move without the ball and find one another, hit high percentages, then yeah. The motto of the 70's Knicks was Find the Open Man.

It'll come with time. Chemistry and familiarity take time.
