This is awsome because i think the Knicks can make a nice bid for Clark. I think there might be a couple of teams that offer him the mid-level exception and hopefully the Knicks will do that. Many teams are scared off because of luxury tax so this is good for us. New York is a nice city for a guy who brings a lot of flair, and with our team in desprite need of a shot-blocking center, Keon will do just fine. He could play alongside McDyess, his former team and friend, as well.

I agree. If we sign Lewis that would be awsome. Then we could trade Spree to Dallas for Van Exel and extra depth. I would do it just to get Lewis in the starting line-up right away. We could also try to swing a sign and trade with Seattle to get Lewis more money if he wants it and wants to play in New York. Maybe we could send Sprewell and Harrington to Seattle for Lewis and Calvin Booth. Our top priority should be Keon Clark though because we need him bad. Offer him the complete exception(6-years, $35M) and i think we will get him.

I doubt that Lewis will sign with us for the exception.
