we have a nice set of post players. they are all hitting at high%s and making it tough on opponents. Id like to compliment that with a athletic shot blocker rebounder type next year to make 4.

little big man has been nothing short of awesome since re-inserted as a starter. he really is a mini dwayne wade--they way he gets up throws his body around physically--the way he collect points reb and assists --look around at the high lottery pick draft PGs Deron Williams and Felton--are they playing better than nate? No.
Nate has been a big piece in this turn around, playing much more under control.

Nate competes every second he is on the court.

I missed this thread. As someone who was kind of down on Nate because of his poor decision making, and penchant for mindless turnovers, I must admit, he has been playing out of his mind lately. He is a huge part of the reason we have one games, and he has been a factor on both ends of the court.

His threes, 'forays into the lane', and on the ball D have been great.

He still makes way too many TO's forcing bad passes, and overall playing to please the crowd rather than playing the right way. But I really like the kid though. I still think we could get a better player for him in a trade with a small market team because of his ability to attract fans, but I'm pleased with him, hes been great.

Good post briggs, and I know you were the one high on nate before the draft, props on that. Nate is a skilled player who is extremely athletic, like IT said, if nate was 6'1 he would of been the overall #1 pick .. or should be IMO..

One of the best in the league actually. He's got a pretty good release. Yahoo posted a predraft video on him and it really displayed the nice range he has. His strength makes him unique. He's not the typical little, all quick and no thick. Although they are short for sure, Marbury and Nate are probably two of the strongest guards in the NBA. They are both built like pit bulls and thrive when attacking and drawing contact. Add a couple of shooters (Craw and Frye) and some old fashioned muscle (Curry, Mo and Lee) and we have a nice rotation right now. It either took 2 months for Larry to figure it out or 2 months for the players to play like LB wanted to them... either way it seems to be here and I like it.

As much as I like Nate I will breath a little easier when we have a full sized 2 guard. A lock down defensive stopper 3pt shooting 2 guard one be a nice trade deadline acqusistion.

If anyone wanted to know the bizness

Jascaklavicus= 1-10 shooting night
Calderon= 0-1 shooting night in six minutes
Charlie V= 1-4 shooting night in 10 min

If Lee or Robinson have a decent night tonight they should easily breach the top 10 of NBA.com's rookie rankings. They were effectivly shafted in this week's rankings. I know a lot of you think diffrent but that's just my humble opinon

Nates been giving the Knicks lately what they thought they were getting from Q (three point shooting, a little Defense and points out form the 2G spot) But Nates only starting out of necesity. Eventually, we will have to get a legit 2g. Nate is specialist. 15 min a night is good for depending on how he's playing that particular game.

2g's who come to mind who could help, Brandon Roy, Kareem Rush or James White. But thats not until next year. Hopefully one of them will be available to us in the draft

Robinson is #10 on the rookies list right now.

I know where they put him I just don't agree with Calderon, Stoudamire and dude with the long name being ahead of him. He is doing better then all three of them dudes
