Judging by the rest of the Knicks schedule I think the Knicks can finish the year 33-20 to make them a .500 team. Also judging by the way the Atlantic Division and the Southeast Division are made up I think the Knicks can battle for one of the last two spots in the playoff picture. Little to early to talk about playoffs with this team but I still believe the Knicks can make it to the playoffs. I just got the feeling that with the insertion of Lee in the starting lineup and the way Marbury has played in the last two games since the debacle in Orlando I think that the team will start playing well. Plus look at the rest of the schedule there are a lot of beatable teams. The only tough road trip they have left is that little Texas two step other than that it should be a reasonable schedule. The Central in my opinion will produce 4 playoff teams and then you add the other two division winners and you have 2 spots left. The comp for those spots are not that hard. Philly and Washington are the hovering over .500 right now. The Knicks are only 5 games behind Philly. Talent wise I think the Knicks are better than Philly. Once again I might be speakin about the playoffs way too early but I am still a true Knick fan bleeding orange and blue. Go NY Go NY GO!

i agree with you about the talent. if you look at the roster we know we should have a better record than this. however, we did not have a healthy curry let alone rookies learning the game. i think it will all click in the next month ( includeing a nice winning streak pretty soon). i would like to be fishing for if not get a playoff spot only to get chicago a mid round pick. my stomach would turn if we were instrumental in the hated bulls getting rudy gay.

I think that's a bit ambitious.

I'd be happy with some 500 play out from here- perhaps a five game win streak somewhere- perhaps at home

beating teams that we should beat- like atlanta, toronto, boston.

I think its more likely that we'll go 20 & 33 over the rest of the season, though.

Bless your little hearts. I love Knicks fans.

But we're NOT going 33-20. Sorry.

i dont think were gonna finish 33-20 either but i dont think were gonna end up with the worst record at the end of the year. honestly i kinda see us having like the 7th pick (maybe +/- 2 spots) in draft again, similar to last yr.

No hes not. I said 35-20 2 games ago. We still play atlanta and charlotte and toronto a total of like 10-11 times. We have a ton of games against bad teams that we haven't even played yet.

Cleveland sucks with hughes out and that is a winable game for us too.

Houston. There are more games left against bad teams than good ones, and we are getting better, I think. We'll see tonight. Tonight is a must win!!

You mean Chicago will have the 7th pick.

Well looks like this is the start of something good. Yeah the Knicks haters are going to say but ya beat the Suns in 3 overtimes and with half their starting lineup out....Or....Ya just beat a bad Wizards team that has lost 4 in a row....well you know what I say as a die hard Knicks fan...suck it up...cuz I feel like the Knicks are starting to play like a team. When you start to play like a team good things are bound to happen. Frye was nasty tonight. Marbury again a double digit assist game. Nate with his energy and Mo Taylor playing well again. What ya say Knicks fans? Am I still "ALL ALONE"? I don't think so. It might just be 2 wins but its something the Knicks can build on. And we got the Sonics on Sunday. I feel like good things are coming our way. Go Knicks!!!

I don't think it's going to happen but...

If this team can play .500 ball or even close to it for the rest of the year - giving significant minutes to 3 rookies and a 23 year old "veteran" center then I'll be very happy with our outlook for the future.

I like how the team seems to be playing together now, and that there is some fire and desire on the court and the bench. I believe the rookies help a lot with that - Nate and Lee are fun on the court and bring toughness, and when they are on the sideline you see them cheer. Its pretty awesome.

I would love to see them hit .500 and make the playoffs...even if we dont win. I want to make sure Chicago gets the lowest pick possible. If its 7 or higher I think Zeke did well in getting Curry...especially if this team is coming together by then. Also, as any true Knick fan - the first half of this season was tough to watch but I still turn every game on and I want to see them win.

Go Knicks.
