I dont know what the stats reflect, but billups had another big game today, and it kinda reminded me of steph. the numbers are there, take it for what its worth

Chauncey Billups was a hack PG who bounced around the NBA pre-Brown.

What you might be refering to really could be Flip Saunders' impact on PGs.

Chauncey Billups Finals appearances w/out LB: 0
Chauncey Billups Finals appearances w/ LB: 2

Allen Iverson Finals appearances w/out LB: 0
Allen Iverson Finals appearances w/ LB: 1

Stepon Marbury Finals appearances w/out LB: 0

I think Larrys track record speaks for itself.

these are a bit misleading, first off a big reason why chauncey's number's are higher is that he has become a better player this season, and a big reason why steph's numbers are lower is becuase this is only the first couple of months under brown. all of browns PG's seem to struggle under him at first.

One puzzling thing about Brown is that he has never had a PG average more than 8 assist a game under him. Even slick passing Mark Jackson couldn't crack 8 asst per.
Billups, Snow, Workman (the fact that Brown won games with that guy running the point merits hall of fame talk on its own), Iverson, Marbury have all had career low assist totals under Brown. I think the reason for this is Brown promtes ball movement and doesn't want his PG to dominate the ball like Nash does. When you move the ball, the assist are spread around.

Billups MVP of playoff finals: A life changing honor!

Chauns played for Saunders once upon a time also!

Larry's points don't make the final pass like Nash does. Kick that ball around is how it happens.

And yes, there is ball movement once or twice a game that is Red Holzman like!

get out the statsheet.

the question is will he help Steph and Craw learn how to finish 4th quarters and close out games like he did with Chauncey?

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!
