The NY/BOS/TOR trade is interesting. I think that TOR would want a little more. But kinda doable by all.

oh, Vlad is NOT going to do the MLE.

The NY/BOS/TOR trade is interesting. I think that TOR would want a little more. But kinda doable by all.

I would have to disagree. Boston trades away Pierce and LaFrentz and they get back:

"Jalen, Taylor (expiring contracts next year), Butler, and Denver 06 1st rd pk"?

No chance in hell.

I'm all for a trade to get some talent, but these loony "We trade only marginal players and get back a top 10 player" trade proposals are just silly.

you know what, Marbury trade was kinda the same way.

I understand what you are saying, but the salary dump for a good player doesn't usually happen with guys who are playing the best ball of their career. Pierce is way better than Marbury. Marbury's value has been dropping for years now. Pierce is still top 10 as we speak.

It doesn't make sense to me at least, but we can always wish. Screw what people say about Pierce, he is a Stat-sheet stuffer and a clutch performer.
