he went from 17ppg to 9ppg playing in NO. DOn't know what it is, but he is a waste of roster space out there. We could use him, he could play our 3.

What do you guys think?

Don't know if thats a good idea. Mason is a brick layer from the perimeter and only thrives on running teams. With walk-it-up-and call-a-play-Larry on the sidelines, dont' think he fits in. Plus, he's only 6'5. Too small to play SF

he can guard big wings. and he is a smart player.

this team runs a half court offense, but clearly has the ability to run when they have the chance. I think he'd fit in. i doubt he's available, given that's he's basically all they got for Magloire.

only if we start either Lee or Frye at the SF and have the other be the 1at bigman off the bench. If we were to trade for Mason then AD, taylor, rose & JJ cannot play big minutes. Desmond is not very reliable offensively but he would clearly be our best perimeter defender but not at the expense stunning Lee and Woods development

dont need him. Lee is off to a good start and Woods seems to be rounding into shape. Plus you have Ariza in the wings

how can you make such a definitive statemnt if you never watch them. NO is a young team on the rise.

They love Mason down there and he is really enjoying playing with Paul and co. They have 2 picks next year, a ton of cap space, and some folks in Oklahama City that has fully embraced them. They are 13-17. They won 18 all of last season. Paul is the future.

Only place where they are lacking is rebounding off the bench and unless IT is doing something like a Lee for Rasual Butler swap, there is no deal to be made.

they are playing better than last year. They are making progress. They are not going to the playoffs by any stretch of the imagination. Are they gonna beat out LA, Denver or Utah.

granted you may have a better grasp of their situation, but just looking at the numbers he went from an almost 20 ppg scorer to a 9ppg scorer and was said to be struggling earlier in the season.

he is still getting shot attempts. no extension yet so there is alway the possibility they trade him

however: it will not be for Mo Taylor.

they are looking at Artest
