Now the Knicks are backed into a corner. Now they must get a C via sign and trade plus try to get a backup from the exception. Rasho is overhyped and Keon will resign with Toronto or sign with a warm weather team like Memphis or Miami. Chris Mihm is probably the best choice via sign and trade because he wont cost us a arm and a leg.

well at least we didnt pay 100 billion dollars to an unproven player. This may be good news. We do need a center. Id love Jarron Collins he wouldnt be that expensive either.

I said it before and I'll say it again...
Mihm is our answer.. at least at backup Center.
We could give up some of those Power Forwards we don't need for him.

Call me foolish, but I'd still do a simple swap of Spoon for Shawn Bradley. Their salaries match, and even if Bradley only gives you 20 minutes a game before he fouls out, you can't teach height. the guy absolutely alters shots in the paint and is an ok rebounder. What more should we be asking of a center on a roster that includes a strong low post player in Dice, a great shooter in Houston and a good scorer either in Sprewell or whoever replaces Spree on the roster. Given what's available, I think this would be the right pick-up for NY.

Hey, let Seattle keep him for their whole exception. At least we can still get 2 for 1 with Collins & Doleac if we don't trade for a 5.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

It doesn't bother me that he went back to the Sonics. What bothers me is the Knicks didn't even make an offer to him. I guess his agent knew that the Knicks went going to offer big money to him. But an offer would have been nice something that he would think about.
