This is our first game of the new year and this is our new season. No more lineup shuffling (allegedly) no more uncertainty.

The resurgence starts tonight!!!!

We can beat Phoenix, and WE WILL.

Marbs has stepped up, Craw is revved up from his poor performance last game, and Curry has been playing well since he's been back. Those three will have 20 a piece, and thats the conservative estimate. I actually think the box score will look like this.

Marbs 20+ P 10+ A
Craw 20+ P 5+ A
Curry 30+ P 10+ R (WHO CAN STOP HIM?!?!?)

Watch this and keep an eye on this thread. This game marks the beginning of our season.

The knicks we have been waiting on appear tonight. Watch the passion, watch the emotion, FEEL IT!!!!! BELIEVE!!!!!!

We have reached the end of the notoriously slow Larry Brown start. Watch our unprecedented rise. Watch it against the Suns tonight in our first statement game. The Knicks have arrived!!!

all i hope for is a win....i just want this team to forget about 2005 and atleast when marbury was asked if he's still the best PG in the league he said no comment, i hope our boys play their hearts out
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

I tell you what -- Marbs is having his best game of the season. I didn't think he'd bounce back like this after that stretch where he was just moping around the court but if he continues to play like this we'll be ok.

Crawford looks great and David Lee in transition is just a monster.

This team needs to run but to do that we need to play better defense. Our pick and roll d is the worst I've ever seen. If Larry can get this team playing good defense or we can make a trade for a good perimeter defender, we may have a run left in us to make this season interesting.

Its huge, Steph said it. he said we played like guys who have played together before and that is because of the rotation. Guys know their roles. How could they know them if they are playing musical chairsd all season.

Isiah wasn't looking to "dumb" when Star, Craw, Curry, Nate, Lee and Frye (in limited mins) were playing key roles tonight.

Killa, I'm feeling u man... I really don't know how Brown thinks the team can develop any rhythm or chemistry with his lineups... it's plain absurd.. not only that, but he is adamant on playing guys who are useless on offense - AD, Malik, Q... I think we won this game cuz AD and Mo T got hurt and we went small

FINALLY. I wrote a similar type of thread in another forum Kill4luv, so I TOTALLY AGREE with you. I saw something good in the Bucks loss and I was expecting that if LB finally got his act together and made the right decisions on this roster, that this team could finally show the talent SOME OF US have been saying is actually here. I hope we can continue to play this lineup and gain more chemistry.

HOW LONG did we call for Lee to play? It totally shocked me that LB decided not to even put him in the active roster to start the season. All those wasted games with him in a suit. On a positive note LB has done a great job with JC and Nate and despite all the drama, Steph is really doing well on both ends of the floor. Now that LB and Steph have gotten things straight on how to play and LB basically is letting Steph do his thing more. I expect things to go much better in 2006 and beyond.

WOOOOOOOOOO! LETS GO!

Hmmmm since the Knicks are starting to build some cohesiveness would do ya guys think the Knicks will do with Q, James and Rose? Not play them at all in order to prevent messin up the chemistry the Knicks are starting to build. Or will IT be at it again and try to unload those three? What ya think?

Haha. If I was like some of those Marbury haters I would say saomething like our most lopsided win of the season was w/o Crawford. 1/1(that's 100%)and Marbury did well. Therefore, Crawford must be the reason we have 21 losses. I think Craw will be valuable as a guy to spark the 2nd unit. If he can get some consistency, maybe more.
