q1 + jerome
about $5-6 mil a year for each

what do we do?

i guess the best thing is to wait this one out with both of them.

shut q1 down for a few weeks and get him healthy, both in body and in mind.
shut jerome down for a few years and hope he gets in shape.

two VERY black marks on isiah's resume.

yikes.

Q is the worst small foward in the league and no one will take that contract. James will be on this team for 5 years. 10 day contract was suitable for that bum.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Isn't this sort of a Knicks tradition? If you're washed up, out of shape, or basically done, the Knicks will give you a multimillion dollar contract.

Q will retire once he realizes he is too injured to play how he wants too.

Still want to see what can happen to JJ if he continues to violate the CBA.

I wouldn't say that Q is untradeable. I can definately see alot of GM's looking past his Knicks experience and giving him a shot based on what he did in Phoenix and LA. He's not useless... YET.

Q won't give up that money. He will be a 12th man before he retires.

Obviously this suspension means they're not interested in trading JJ. The suspension kills his trade value. They're probably either trying to void his contract or trying to force him to get in shape.

"Last season, the Rockets received a full exception after Maurice Taylor tore his ACL. The Grizzlies, 76ers and Knicks also received one last year when Bryant Reeves, Matt Geiger and Luc Longley retired from the league."

I didn't Mo Taylor had torn his ACL at one point in his career. I think he tore his achillies at one point too, though.
