Right off the bat Malik and Davis would be on the inactive list with Penny. None of these guys would play unless there was an injury.

I'd start Frye, Lee, Curry, Marbs and Q

I'd run everything through Marbs the way it's supposed to be. I'd turn Curry into a souped up Nazr. I wouldn't call a play for him unless he showed he was feeling it. Otherwise he will be eating off of Marbs and the offensive glass. I would be trying my best to get Frye open off screens and backdoor plays to get him daylight. I would feature Q on offense. I would basically call plays for him to get him going. Marbs would have the green light to actually run the team and make whatever play he see's fit. Lee I would let loose....allow him to be active and do his thing. His sole purpose would be to play ball. Thats' what he does. He's a great passer and has a decent handle. He attacks the basket too and seems to know where to be on the floor.

Off the bench Taylor would be the featured player. Craw and Nate would get in where they fit in. When they come in it's all about offense for them. Craw would not be allowed to shoot a pull up jumper off the dribble at anytime. Nate I would just allow him to "be a highlight" cuz that's just how he plays. He produces more than he messes up.

Ariza would barely play. He would basically be doing what Lee does but just in very limited minutes. He would be my pet project.

Jerome would also hardly play and would not see a play called for him ever. His job would be to throw them bows. Score when it presents itself, but otherwise focus on rebounding, blocking shots and fouling the sh it out of anyone who gets near him.

Butler will be insurance if guys get hurt or in foul trouble. He is a good overall back up pf/c.

Offensively we would push the ball every single posession. If nothing is there the ball would be in Stephs hands to get the right guys the ball. I would be directing him from the bench but stepping back and letting him do his thing. Like I said Marbs would have the green light to make whatever play he feels if he see's something happening. Down the stretch it would be on Marbs. Marbs whole game is about taking over so I would encourage him to do so.

Defensively? I can't see why the Knicks can't be a good defensive team. The Knicks are too athletic. I would play man to man with no help. Anyone that comes inside must be put down or body checked. Guys have to be responsible for their men. No way do you double the post if a guy is standing outside by the three. Everyone must be facing their opponent at all times. See the ball also but never leave their side. I'd rather a guy get beat off the dribble.....just know that anyone that dares to do that they will be put down. This is what will be stressed in practice. On the floor it would be up to the guys to encourage each other and talk if guys are not doing their jobs. My job as the coach would be to point out what they did but that should be something they should already be saying to each other before I do. They got to police themselves. If guys are in foul trouble......so what? That's what depth is for. Guys got to trust each other and root for the team.

Neither did Steph, he begged out of the system. Probably would have required too much practice...

Q has no confidence thanks to brown. Q is also hurt too supposedly. I wonder if he would be so hurt if brown played to the strengths of his players.

No not play like pheonix. Just play like has always played throughout his career.

Marbs didn't average 20 and 8 up until now by accident. With a team like this he should be averaging 10 assists per game.

would you have Q in the post or to play the role like he did in PHO? currently, he sets up beyond the arc, is usually wide open, and just bricks it. if he wants to play inside, thats up to him to get position, but he hasnt been.

I wonder uf the coach has something to do with that.

I dunno man what do you think coaches do? They just curse and scream at the players? If that was the case the knicks should sign Dave chappelle to coach the knicks.

I only remember brown, you know the guy that tells the players what to do, posting q once. Q scored like 6 straight points and was starting to feel it and then brown took him out. Q got 16 in that game where uf he continued to go to him he might of had 30 that night.
