I was thinking about this since the milwaukee game...especially with the lineup of Marbs,Robinson,Lee,AD and Curry, i only see 2 bonafide offensive threats in that line up. Taylor has picked up his game, we all knowhe can score but his defense may not be the best but he's one of the league leaders in drawing charges and he isnt horrible on the D???

What do you guys think?

Taylor or Frye should be starting over Davis.....period.

If Frye must come off the bench it should not be for Davis. Taylor has shown he can score on anyone when he is in attack mode. Taylor has also been playing defense and rebounding well. Yeah I'd say he deserves to start.

Antonio Davis at this stage of his career should just be a locker room presence and a guy that comes in to foul and make the most of his 10 minutes. Nothing more.

I posted this a few days ago and got no replies. Ideally Frye would start over Davis but Taylor would be an improvement from Davis. Frye and Taylor don't play great defense but neither does Davis. Frye and Taylor can't at least bring a lot of offense though (and probably better defense than AD at this stage of his career).

it would make sense to start MoT since AD will be gone after this season while MoT will most likely still be here.

I would say yes...... i mean u cant really bring Mo T and or Frye off the bench to play back up center... and u could get away with AD at backup C so i would go that route cuz u dont want to play James at all

Nobody on this team has been consistently good on defense, so why single out Frye?.

Frye should start with Lee and Nate since we are not going to win many games, we might as well sink or swim by starting all of the rookies, what do we have to lose.

If you're going to start Taylor than might as well start Frye since Taylor doesn't play with effort on defense and rebounding every night

Nate Curry and Marbs are all offensive threats-AD provides stability and D and Lee is al about boards and energy and junk points. Let the professor teach

REally? I haven't noticed that. All I've noticed on D from Mo is that he always tries to draw charges, is successful about 2 out 10 times at drawing them, and gives up layups or gets called for blocking fouls the other times. Frye's at least young and has a chance to improve his defense and has the right body to become a strong shot blocker.

Frye has a chance to be good on defense but, he isn't good now. He is a bad defensive player period. AD is our only defensive PF. Frye will just have to improve.
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

I bet Pacer fans said the same about Reggie back in the day...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

taylor improved his D this year, he's still a lil slow footed but its pretty obvious give the man his props, he isnt a favorite of mine but i see the improvement he mad on the defensive end of the ball.

Are you saying Frye will be a flopper?
