Obviously, we all know Zeke was probably the better all- around player during their heydays from the pistons but as of now, in the front office, Dumars rule!!!

Isiah has no skills whatever as G.M... Knicks GM for nearly 3 yrs now and the knicks still haven't hit .500 for a season.

He doesn't know when to take timely risks, horrible in free -agents signings(JErome James) and trades are questionable(Q, Curry, Rose, and Mo Taylor)

Knicks have the highest payroll in NBA history @ 125mm and showing a 7 -20 record

He should only be a talent evaluator for the draft picking of Mcgrady, Stoudamire, Frye...

Dumars is a genius!! He knows how to built a championship team. He got one over Isiah already..
Pistons payroll is half of the Knicks @ 58mm and their record is 25 -3.. the best in the NBA..

trades: 1)traded away Grant Hill for no name Ben Wallace who has become 3 time defensive player of the yr.
2)Traded away Stackhouse for Richie Hamilton who has become one of the premier SG.

3) got Rasheed for practically nothing.

Drafts: Drafted Tayshaun Prince who has become a defensive stopper in the league.
Darko M. was probably a bad pick but he's only 22 so he got time to flourish..

free-agent signings: Signed Billups to the same contract Zeke signed JJ.. What did Billups do?? Shut down Kidd who only scored 1 pt in game 7 of the semi's and most of all, won the Finals MVP..

Isiah has ruined one franchise in the Toronto Raptors. HE also killed the CBA league..

If i were him, i would place a call to Dumars and ask him how does he do it before he takes down the Knicks.

how much of a hypocrite are you??....Darko is 22 and has time to flourish?....Curry is 22 too....i can sense the hate in ur blood
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

It's not hate, my brother.. it's true facts!!! Why is it that dumars gets his 1st job as GM/Pres and wins a championship.. Zeke went to toronto as GM, owner of CBA and coach of Pacers and failed in all 3 destinations??? Im stating facts, my brother...

no hate but love ... just curious !! Oh, btw, zeke didn't draft Curry, he gave him a ballooned contract and traded away his next 2 picks .. so if we fall # 4 in the draft, it goes to Chicago..

On paper I would have done every move (minus the Malik Rose and Mo deals) that Zeke have done. They just have not worked out as planned. This is still a very young team but I still feel that this team could be doing a lot better in the standings with a different offensive game plan. Larry wants us to keep dumping the ball down low and we don't have the type of talent to do that (putting the ball in Curry's hands is cool but, he still has not learned how to pass out of a double team). Today Brown came out and said he wants the team to give the ball to James in the post more, why??? I do think that in the long run Brown will be grate for the Knicks but for the time being and with the current roster he has he just is player to people’s abilities or putting us in the best position to win

Ya....the difference is that Curry has played 4 seasons, Darko 2.

Also, Darko missed 2 straight summer camps due to injury.

That said, I still think he's junk, but you can't prove it yet.

And the reason why Dumars is a far better GM is b/c he's patient, smart, low-key, and built on defense.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Idiot Owner of the knicks, James Dolan must be a real fool!!!!
He needed someone to replace Scott Laydown but chooses Isiah, not even checking his past credentials.. a)corrupted the CBA league 2)destoyed the raptors franchise and most of all, got fired by the Pacers..

I mean C'mon... Wasn't it an indication that Isiah wouldn't be right for the job???

You realized why the best of them did not want the job to begin with.. Don't want to deal with a buffoon owner like Dolan..

Now look what Zeke has done for the Knicks, flawed roster!! Not even one superstar on this team

what dumars did in detroit is the ultimate any championship player returning to his team can accomplish. another championship from a different position

phil jackson has yet to accomplish the ultimate

Seriously... I dont know if trading for Q was the best move, even if it did bring robinson... but KT has been trash in PHX. I'd rather IT do a salary dump for KT. also, seriously... who knew Curry would be so injured... why not give up David Lee instead of those 2 draft picks again? So confused...

Put Dumars here instead of Isiah, and I doubt we'd be really looking at anything different.

Here's a question - did Joe do the Otis Thorpe to Memphis for a #1 deal (turned into the #2 pick = Darko)? Anyone remember whether it was Joe or his predecessor who made that deal?
