This is what pisses me off. Our team obviously needs a SF and defensive help. Artest gives you just that. He's a top 12 player in the league and his salary is very cheap.

I understand that Larry and Isiah dont get a lot- but who fckin cares! Business is business.

Sure Artest is a headcase, but so is marbury and so was sprewell. I just cannot fathom any good reason why the Knicks wont at least TRY to get him.

As a season ticket holder I feel ripped off by this lack of interest. I understand that we don't have much to offer- BUT AT LEAST TRY!

I can't remember being more disgusted with a Knickerbocker team in my life.

When do we start showing up to the garden with bags on our heads? I think Jan 2 vs Pho sounds about right.

Pretty much.

Isiah isn't one to keep quiet about his moves.

Since when is Marbury as much a "head case" as Ron Artest or Spree?

The anti-Stephon sentiment is getting really silly now.

As for the Knicks getting Artest, I am all for it.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Umm.....how do you know he hasn't tried.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Well I didnt mean they were on equal levels or anything, but come on- its obvious from Steph's career that something isn't right with him. He's got all the talent in the world but he always seems to alienate his teammates.

We took a chance on him and spre- why are we so reluctant for artest?

in NY off court distractions are mulitplied by about 10000. And do you really think Dolan would sign off on Spree today, no less Artest?

Use paper bags.

Gasping in public is so not cool.

Activity as we have learned does not always promote improvment. Its so exciting though!

Spree was a jerk off the court. Once you got him to camp, he was ok.
He was a management problem. He was a great team mate.

Rons problems are on the court. He does not do pressure well.

He has had too many "events" were he alienates his team also.

I have mixed feelings as to whether I want him here.

Isiah coached him, he knows to what extent he is coachable or plain nuts!

This could be why- that Isiah knows there is no way to reach him.

Stephon's locker room drama is small stuff compared to the situations Ron and Latrell found themselves in. Given the choice, I'd take Steph with much less issues.

yea but i dont know steph seems like he just doesnt wanna be here anymore...his game has sufferred tremendously with larry brown running the show. i wonder if the pacers would take marbury for artest and some bad contracts, maybe get tinsley thrown in. i wouldnt have a problem parting with ariza or lee in a deal like that.

steph is a sore loser. never made it pass the 1st round and doesn't make his team better.

RON RON is a former defensive player of the yr and took the team to the conference championship vs. Detroit

you see the difference!!! . One can shut you down completely even if your name is Kobe. The other scores and scores and scores but no nothing about defense...

we're not getting Artest because as Vescey indicated "Isiah isn't too fond of Artest"

at one pt vs. the Nets in the playoffs, Zeke tried to remove Artest from the playoff roster..

The Future. GO KNICKS!

And didn't artest basically melt down and cost the pacers a game with like a pair of fragrants & technicals?
