This is a little off topic but relevant.

Dwight Howard is a monster. They guy is huge and he has some quickness. I didnt realize how big he was until I watched last nights game. The way he was stepping around Curry - it was scary. A lot has been made of the Lakers taking a gamble on the "next Shaq" but I think Orlando has been blessed with a second chance when they got Howard.

Curry is a good center and he can become better - I think the team needs to get a big man in to teach him, like maybe Pat Ewing???? He seems to have done good work with Yao Ming.

I actually was less impressed with Howard last night than I expected to be, I think Curry and Frye for the most part played him well. I think he needs a lot more refinement and ferociousness to his game. He looked light years behind Amare on both counts judging by last night's performance.

I think he will get there - the talent is there and he seems like he wants to be a good player. He could be nasty in a few years.

I concur. But he will be a beast. He needs to develop some post moves. He doesn't have the explosiveness of Amare, but Amare wasn't then and still isn't refined in the post.

How about Herb Williams?

Both Herb Wiliams and Mark Aguirre have been working with Eddy. It looks like we will benefit from it if Eddy can stay healthy. I wouldn't mind seeing Curry drop 29/9 more often.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Once we have a point guard who can drive and dish I think you will a fine inside out game with Curry and Frye being Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside or Mr Left and Mr. Right. with Craw and/or Q being kick out options.

We do not need and more coaches-both Aguirre and Herb have a little experience working with bigs. I have seen signs of deveopment in EC-now if he and James can only get in shape and healthy

Ya.....Howard's a man beast.

And the scary thing is that he JUST turned 20...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I know - I was telling my girlfriend he was only 19-20 years old and she was in shock. I seriously think he is the next Shaq, he definitely has a lot of work to do to become that but if anyone has a chance to be the next dominator I think it is him.
