Well, this topic may be as real or unreal as you want. Maybe you want to keep it real and keep in mind stuff like salary cap, available players and age. Or you can just make up a Knicks dream team with current players.

Here's my Ultimate Knicks Line-up:

C- Alonzo Mourning:
I have always thought that Zo is the natural heir to Patrick, so I would love to have him on the Knicks

PF- Ben Wallace:
Another defensive big man. Wallace could help Zo doing all the dirty job so my next 3 guys could burn the opposition!

SF- Antonio McDyees:
Can´t wait to watch him play!!!

SG- Latrell Sprewell:
Fire. Passion. Offense. Defense. Just the Knicks Player. Nuff said.

PG- Gary Payton:
In my personal opinion, the best point in the league. Also "The Glove" is a defensive wiz, so he'll be in his fundamental enviroment in NY.

I like it, but it's a pipe dream...
Scott LayDown would have a cult-like following and rose petals thrown at his feet for pulling off some Twilight Zone stunt like that.

Why don't you try some RealGM trades to see if you can get any of those players first (and be sure to post the trade #'s). See just how monumental that task is... I'm curious to see what you come up with.

Now that I think about it, Evel Knievel couldn't pull off that stunt either...

If your talking about the Mourning of 4-5 years ago, yes, but not today. I'd also pass on the "The Glove".
