I don't think Odom fits in LA. I was watching the Miami and LA game today and Odom's game just doesn't fit. Odom and Kobe seem to be playing on two different teams.
All I wanna know is can a three way deal go down NY/LA/Indiana?
Donnie Walsh said himself that he didn't want another small fwd cuz Danny Granger was playing well for them...even saying Granger could be a Artest type of player. Stephen Jax is already a nice fit at the 2. They don't need another point guard. Jermaine O'neal is the face of their franchise at power fwd. So what do they need actually?
Veteran leadership fom a guy that played his better years with Indiana that comes off the books in a big way after the season.......that equals AD.
They can send Artest to LA so Dr. Phil can get in his head and be a Kobe's sidekick. Kind of like Scottie Pippen excaped the psych ward.
Odom then comes home. Larry relied on Odom hard in the Olympics. Odom was one of the few guys if not the only one that seemed to be comfortable playing for Brown. Odom really fill a void and can take the ball from not only Marbs but Craw and other guards too. Odom can get you 10 boards too. I think Odom would fit right away. He's just a Larry Brown type of player.
The trade would be Artest and Pollard to LA Antonio Davis to Indiana Odom and Aaron Mckie to NY
Pipe dream? Any other way the Knicks can get their hands on Odom?
