What do people see in him that makes him untouchable in the eyes of some. From what I could tell is that he hustles and rebounds well...that's about it. I don't think he has alot of talent to go w/ the drive.

Lee is the next Mason.....

That's all I have to say.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

That's okay, if you don't understand, it's why we leave it to the experts like IT or LB.

Besides there is nothing wrong with hustle and rebounding, there a quite a few guys who made long careers out of just those two attributes, also any player who can use both hands skillfully like Lee is an asset, the rest of his game will come around in time.

He is a coachable old school player. He is a competitor who leaves it all on the floor. He isn't a diva. He is still a rookie. Nuff said.

Lee can't finish at the basket, so the guy he should be compared to is JYD. Same player really, good athletic ability, great hussle, great rebounder, no shot, no handle, and a boatload of desire. Some day he might even become a good defender.

Right now he is not even JYD.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

How can anyone make a definitive assessment based on such a small sample?

He does have handle and he passes pretty decently too.

His handle is good for a PF maybe, def not good enough for a SF. And his passing I ohnestly don't know about. Havent really seen him pass, I have seen him try and do some fancy passes that ended up as to's or near to's on the break. Prolly one of the reasons Brown never plays him, stupid plays like that.

I still think that Lee's ceiling is a JYD type of player, which for a late 1st round pick is just fine. It's just not a legitimate sticking point in a trade for a top 10 player.

I think Lee will develop much more of an offensive game than JYD.

even at this point he's much better than jyd. he is a rookie, so give him time. he can post, handle the ball, ect. jyd would have loved to have had the skills this kid has at his age.

I have probably seen Lee play more than anyone on this board so I can give you a good idea what his strengths and weakenesses are. Passing and running the floor, and rebounding are his best attributes. I kind of laugh when people say he cant shoot. He has taken about 5 jumpers this year and made 4 of them. He can make people around him better and LB loves him just tells him to wait for his time. Handling and defending a 3 is tough for him because he has never done it. By Feb he will make his way into the rotation and be a favorite. With his work ethic he will pass Ariza before the aeason is over.

i have a bad feeling lee is stuck between the 3-4. If i was him, id spend 10% of my paycheck finding a trainer who can get him to 240 without losing explosion or speed. Put some shoulders on him and make him a 4, that his destiny if he has one in the nba. someone said anthony mason today--mason had more skill in one hand than lee has in his 225 pounds. mason also weighed a solid 255-260 and was as mean as they come.
IF lee REIVENTS himself, if he dedicates himself to 4--meaning he must put on a hard 15, then hes got a future. at 3 hes just not the kind of player who will EVER be able to match up with guys like Pierce T Mac, its not his game he was a 5 man f 4 years at Flda. he can handle the ball, but he cant take the ball from the perimeter and dribble drive. No way and he cant shoot outside of 12 feet. I respect opinions, I would tell Lee to find the BEST trainer, one who can get him up to 240-243 or so,gain strength and become a hard nosed rebounding 4 who can start breaks, bang and finish with explosion and strength.
RIP Crushalot😞
