He likes the knicks. He thinks we have a good team. (this was before the Curry signing) He said it would take 2 or 3 months, but he thinks we will be a good team and thinks we will make the playoffs.

He said LA and NY are the teams he's watching because its 2 great coaches who have alot less talent than what they are used to.

[the following are my thoughts, not Charles']

I guess so far, LA is blowing us out of the water. But LB has inherited a team built to run and gun, and has us playing half-court ball. He isn't the most flexible cat around, and I suspect Phil is much more flexible. Not to mention the fact that he has the best offensive player in the league on his squad. But overall we have better talent and I can only thik we would be a better team if Phil was coaching us. But alas, it is early and LB may turn this thing around yet. We'll see...

Vescey's take - his humour usually leaves me flat, but I like this one.

"Props to the Knicks, who went from a .250 club to a .280 one with the win over the JV-azz. Say this much for Camp Cablevision — it's not easy for a seven-win team to sweep a season series. Afterward, Isiah Thomas congratulated himself for assembling an outfit tough enough to play in front of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir."
