I've always been a Marbury fan, but eversince Brown came aboard, he's not the same player. Even Steve Francis said Marbury isn't playing like himself. He's lost his aggressiveness and is no longer in attack-mode which "is" his game. Brown wants an Eric Snow type player. Someone who isn't gonna turn the ball over and get the ball moving. Thats not Marbury's game. He's a scoring PG like 90% of the PG's today. If Marbury can;t play his game, he's useless to us. Honestly, he's the best scorer on this team right now, can get to the basket, score or get fouled better than anyone on the team. But if isn't gonna do that, he needs to go. Why have a guy on this team not play to his strengths. It's senseless. Eric Snow plays the way he plays because he doesn't have a choice. He couldn't average 21 pts and 8 ast (like Marbury does for his career) if his families life depended on it.

If brown doesn't want Marbury to play his game, he needs to move him. But Brown and Isiah better fbring in a scoring 2g or SF because there any other scoreres on this team.

By the way, why does Baron Davis get so much love and everyone kills Marbury. There the same player but Marbury is better. baron davis shoots about 37% from the feild, shoots way more bad shots than Marbs, too many threes, and is a turnover machine. Yes, his team is winning, but we don't have anyone remotely close to J-Rich

wait a year

LB is the best coach. While most of us simply dont get what he's doing I assume he has a plan. He's only had 3 losing seasons in 33 years of coaching. I can be patient with that record. Its not Isiah we are talking about. Lets see if he can build them up after breaking them down

I'm guessing Marbury finds it easier to force himself out of NY and away from Larry than buy into his system so he can go to toronto or atlanta and average his 20 & 8

Why does Baron get props and Marbs knots?

Baron smiles. Teammates like him, and he passes. Sure they both get assists, but baron makes things happen.

Surly divas are not liked.

Lets hope the Rehab gets better for Marbs!

He doesn't seem to smile much on the basketball court though. I think that's by design.

Or maybe he just doesn't like basketball.

Oh God, you guys are taking this way too seriously. From everything we have heard, Steph is a real good guy off the court and is good with the fans. He's not a bad guy, and he's grown up loving basketball. How come you guys attack Steph for not smiling on the court and not Mike Sweetney? Same stuff. How about, he just goes out and plays.

I think Steph's grandma must be around:

"Why don't you ever smile? You have such a beautiful smile."
"Why don't you let your hair grow back? You used to have such beautiful hair."
etc.

If Steph followed our advice, he'd be grinning like a fool all game long.

Really, who gives a hoot if he smiles on the court. It's all part of the macho posturing. I don't think he will last the year though. Maybe only because he makes so damn much.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Forget the business that we better not trade Marbury unless we're getting something good back. That's like having testicular cancer and declaring you wont have it removed unless the Dr will give you a schlong extension too. They are only related in your mind.

I've been a Marbury detractor for a long time, but I've always maintained it could be possible for him to turn it around. No more, not here. The inside info last year was that when the team split around him it was mostly the veterans against him, and by hook or crook they are now all gone (KT, Nazr, Allan, JYD, KVH, Shandon, etc.) But now, after a fresh start, it appears he's losing the guys like Crawford and the youth too, let alone the coach and GM showing little respect. The coach thinks he has no head and Isiah is telling the 29 year old to act like a man cause his wife and kids are watching... This is absurd and it should end now.

This is the first time I've outright said it, but Marbury is C-A-N-C-E-R. He has got to go before he spreads. Trade, him, cut him, banish him to memphis, I don't care. Just get him out of here.

i am beginning to go this way towards Marb too. His last straw is with Brown. If LB can't change this guy or thinks he can't, you can be assured that he will be gone. Isiah wants to win in NY.

That was pretty evident when Isiah didn't mention Stephon as one of the keys to the future. He will eventually start getting it but if not, you guys are right he will be shipped out.

actually in a interview with isiah, he still mentioned steph as part of the core. that quote that constantly goes around (frye and curry being the only core players) was taken out of context. as of now, steph is definately part of the core, and according to isiah, he hopes steph is still here when his contract runs out. but, obviously if steph cant do what LB wants he will be gone(but thats the same with frye and curry too).
