we must do something this team is going nowhere!
the "old players" like AD PENNY MALIK must go away from our roster and give us some kind of future and present because LEE is better that MALIK any day ,channing better than AD and WOODS better than PENNY!
I belive this young core has a future even if we suck 1-2 seasons
brown needs player who trust him to lead them MARB isn't doing that right now.
if we can get artest we must do it(even in cost of NATE or LEE)
we need a SF ASAP!!!
WE NEED A POINT GUARD ASAP!!!

I could care less about us making the playoffs. The priority is to revamp the entire team. This team has to be recreated based on a vision and sound strategy. If I see that the team is moving in the right direction, I wouldn't mind them having a bad season. Right now, the team is spiralling down a black hole.

Exactly. Who cares about making the playoffs this year. It's not as if we have a remote chance of going to the Championship so who cares. I want the team to get better. Which is why they should not make some knee jerk move just because we are losing now. I'd rather take the L now then to acquire or trade for some mediocore player who may help us win a few more games this year. The Knicks need to start looking at the big picture. That has always been the problem with management. They've always had a win now mentality. That has never ever worked! It's not going to work now. The Knicks should be patient and make sure we get people in here are are going to have a long-term impact. If that means waiting until after the season to make trades then so be it.
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

don't care about making the playoffs so much..
we don't have draft pick this season and the atlantic div. is so weak we can still win it!
we have talent on this team but it just not orgenized

C- CURRY,JAMES,BUTLER =ALL SET
PF- FRYE,MO,LEE = ALL SET (no need for malik or AD)
SF- ARIZA,WOODS,Q =NOT GOOD ENOUGH (we need a starter 12-15PT/6-8RB/3-5AS/1-2STL)
SG- JAMAL,Q,MARB = NOT SO GOOD (we need a solid shooter+defender 15-20PT/4-7RB/4-7AS/1-2STL)
PG- MARB,NATE =BAD (we don't have a point gaurd who fits larry brown's sistem maybe get a PG and move marb to SG)

NO.1 NEED - STARTING PG
NO.2 NEED - STARTING SF
NO.3 NEED - STARTING SG
NO.4 NEED - FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK

MOST IMPORTENT TO ME IS TO SEE THE YOUNGSTERS PLAY ,IF WE CAN GET ONE OF OUR TOP NEEDS WITHOUT LETTING FRYE,CURRY GO I WILL BE HAPPY
I DON'T WANT TO GET TO THE PLAYOFFS JUST TO GET THERE, I WANT US TO COMPETE AND GET EXPEIRINCE FOR THE FUTURE

Don't like the idea of Marb play the 2. He's too small. Ricky Davis killed him when brown started Nate in that game against Boston. Believe it or not, a trade for Rose would help a little for this season only. He gives them a legit SF, who can pass, and create his on shot. True, he;s lost about 2 steps, but he's still better than Ariza and or Woods at this point. But, the only way I take Rose is if Toronto gives us Denvers pick. No pick, no trade,

I do care about making the play-offs. Well, I mean, we are not gonna make it but I want us to win games because of that fu**ing Chicago pick and because I want our young players to have a winning mentality. The "good" thing about this team is that we play even worse when the veteran players are on the court, so Frye and Curry (the most important ones) are going to have a lot of games to develop. At the end of the season if we don't make any trades we will have a very objective opinion of our young players (ok, Lee has to play a lot more), and this is something we haven't seen in a long time.
Finally, I agree, if we don't make trades no play-offs.

The only way we make the playoffs is if Curry turns into a stud by the middle of the season or if a big trade is made that turns around the team. So, I wouldn't complain if we made the playoffs! But it's more important that we add pieces that can be here for the long-term with Curry and Frye. W-Ls this season are a distant concern.

Unless we get the pick, I don't want the knicks to make this trade. However, you have to admit, Rose cant do worse than Ariza and his 5 pts per game. Plus, Rose would have some trade value next year because he'll have an expring contract. Maybe Isiah could use it for Lewis, next year who is opting out of his contract next summer. No draft picks and no money under the cap means and expiring contract is your next best and only option.

I don't know of a trade anywhere in the league that would help this team make the playoffs... well, maybe Larry Brown for Mike D'Antoni.

You can't say jalen is mentally weak. Dude has hit countless clutch shots in his career. He can still play three positions. Dude is a gamer. He has definately lost a step but he knows how to play the game. I would welcome him but not for a kings ransom.
