watch wst virginia and okl at 830

two really good players who will be first round picks--both who we could use, Taj Gray of okla and Mike Gansey of WV are playing--so you can take a look at some really good styles of play from two different teams hat are well-coached. Youll see some intenisty and hard smart play.

that was a good game. shows how IQ and fundamental skills
are such necessary componentsto the game of basketball. Taj Gray truly is a player who can be an impact NBA post man. Runs the floor like a deer, hes long very athletic, tremendous first and secondary jump with beautiful touch. they could put this guy at center right now in phoenix and hed score 20 a game even at 6-9 235

to get onto WV, they show you why team play wins games--every possession with ball movement cuts and screens they are able to get a wide open jump shot or a back door lay up. Its a very entertaining style of play. Frye could be a geat player in a system like that because of his inside outside abilities. we just need 8 more guys like frye.

I love WV's style on offense, its pure basketball, no streetball crap. Theres one guy Isiah and Larry should be looking at for early second round this year and thats Kevin Pittsnoggle, he's the ultimate Larry Brown player. He can shoot, he can rebound, he can pass, he can defend,he just know how to play basketball. He'd be a perfect role player in a Larry Brown system. Man, I'd love a team of Chaning Frye's, it'd be something different in the NBA. I'm so tired of watching the same old same old where everyone except 2 teams play the same style.

I really like Gansey alot, I just worry about him in the pros. At 6'4, he's going to have to play point and I don't think he has the ballhandling skills to do it. Positives about him though; he can shoot lights out, he can penetrate, plays great D. If he can just somehow figure out a way to bump up his quickness and ball-handling he'll make a really nice player in the pros.

Pittsnoggle has a little Bill laimbeer in him for sure, he'll be an NBA player. Mike Gansey will go somewhere between 25-35 in this draft. Sometimes players with elite fundamentals and hard-nosed play get backshelfed for the flashy run-jump athlete with no skill--like Trevor Ariza. I think there is enough eveidence that fundamentals, two way skills and basketball IQ trump athletiscm, although Gansey is pretty athletic.

Taj Gray is an under-rated player in this draft. In fact I would go sa far to say he has top 5 nBA draft talent. Its rare to find a post athlete who pocces's his quicknes and athletsicm to GO ALONG with fundamentals and skills. That guy has the package, has a little james worthy in him.

Men among children will always look good. Since we can only compare white guys to other white guys, Pitts is part Laimbeer, part L8nr, and part Cherokee Parks. They look so good in college and look so good in summer league. ANd then we get alll pissed off we don't have 5 picks to get all these guys.

Same old same old! Pitts came back to school cuz he did not have it in predraft work outs. Im sure he will work real hard, but a solid pro at best, no star.

everytime i see taj gray, i get more impressed. its rare to find someone 6-9 who has that combination of fundamental low post game with a beautiful touch and serious run-jump athletiscm. He looks like he could be a falt out star at the next level.

Guys like Gansey and Pittsnoggle are NBA bench guys, but they can be imporatnt types of role players. Its all about TEAM and these guys have skills for the nBA level--not quite the speed or athletsicm to make a huge hit, but smart tough and fundamental enough in their own right sto be imporatnt bench players for any team. You need these types of guys

the difference between a Taj gray is that he has physcial nba all star talent potential, a player who can be a 1-2 option on an nba team. I think he would be an absolute stud on Phoenix at C. You put him and Stoudemire together with nash and marion, oh my god.
