Isiah has successfully capped the organization out and brought in players that are more watchable but don't have an ounce of pride.....As long as Marbury, Q, Mo, Crawford are still around this team is destined to fail; these guys are out partying all the time and none of them plays an ounce of defense....Isiah is a confused soul who knows he has failed you can hear it in his voice, its just too bad he brought in crawford and couldn't have sent marbury to golden state at the deadline last year (the man just let parker blow by him all night and never fought to get back into the play)

Remember when Isiah wouldn't give up Nazy and Kurt for Vince Carter last year? Nevermind the guy wins games by himself but we have the combination of Malik Rose, Q, and Nate Rob because of it........

I say we see what we can do with Toronoto give them Penny, Butler, Channing for Jalen Rose and Chris Bosh who is never going to resign with them anyway so Babcock might be dumb enough since he already has villeneuva, and wants peja (cauldron, gramham, peja, villenueva, frye)

These building blocks Isiah is talking about? Channing Frye thats it, building blocks are starters....Curry might as well have retired already now that he has his money, i am sick of people pointing out that he was in shape last year; obviously because his contract was up, if teams are in a hurry to get rid of talented players theirs a reason.........

Why not look into sprewell instead of signing matt barnes and then cutting him and then bringing in woods........

I have never seen a home team get blown out in three straight, not even expansion teams, we need to weed out the losers and get more people out there that care; thats why putting Nate on the IR was another stellar move by this pathetic ****ing organization

And I think that evaluating the draft all these players could really help, and a number of teams would have been in line to get Rudy Gay, but Isiah has evaluated the draft

A breakout player. One NBA scout based in Texas told Insider in August that Aldridge... [Click for complete player card]

The only question is whether Eddy gets in shape and wants to win. If he does, I'd take him over any of those players based on what I've heard and the limited times I've seen them.

I don't care about any of these pre-draft analyzations. As usual several players will get hyped and turn out to be bumbs. Other guys will be forgotten and turn out to be 15 year contributors. All this pre-draft crap is nonsense.

If eddy was in the draft that be comparing him to Shaq and every fan would be complaining about how we don't have a draft pick to get the guy. Everyone here knows I am 100% correct on this, just some won't admit it.

Are you kidding me? Toronto would never trade Bosh for Frye. Or Villanueva for Frye. The former because Bosh is on the verge of superstardom and the latter because he picked Charlie ahead of Frye and that would look like he was admitting a mistake.

That's brilliant actually, brilliant enough to use as a signature and make everyone have to read it nonstop!

very unsound reasoning.

the first of many arguments would likely point to the 84 draft and compare Gay/Curry to Jordan/Bowie. Thing about Curry and the inaccurate Shaq comparisons is that Shaq size was largely muscle, Curry's size is largely fat.

The only difference between Curry and Gay and Morrison and the others is that Gay and Morrions and company haven't had their weaknesses exposed yet. If Curry was at the college level he would be scoring 25 a game and we would be clueless about who he really is.

But take a look at last year's draft. Everyone on this site predicted greatness for someone who is either no longer in the league or will soon be leaving. The truth is that Curry has as much potential to be a star or a bust as anyone in this draft.

If Steph is traded for something like that without a pick coming back I would first shoot myself and then call for Isiah's head....no wait first I would call Isiah, then shoot myself then call for a head.......no wait..............

hmmm you're right. Originally I wanted to get a pick back but if we Toronto is taking on Marbury's contract they shouldn't have to give us their lottery pick. I would do a Marbury(and salary filler) for Rose and James since Rose's contract expires next year. But who would that filler be? the only guy that fits is Jerome James. They might take him but they would have to include a player to make it work.

How about:

Marbury + Jerome = 21mm

for

Jalen + Mike James + Matt Bonner = 21mm

You guys are missing the point. Why are you guiys comparing Curry to draft picks. Curry isn't in the draft. Why not compare Kobe to the draft picks or T-mac? You wouldn't compare them because there already in the NBA. Same as Curry. So stop comparing Curry to draft picks.. The question to Isiah should be, why couldn't you get Curry in a trade without giving up an unprotected pick. Especailly when Curry had heart problems, and no one else was bidding for his services. Chicago had to trade him and everyone knew it. So he should have offered a lottery protected pick or no deal. What was Chicago gonna do? They had no other bidders.

I don't think they'll give us any picks when they're already taking on Marbury and roughly $77mm unless they are convinced Marbury is the guy can need to pair Bosh and co with. Actually he might be but they problably rather wait and do better elsewhere

People compare him to draft picks because that is what we gave up to get him. some people wanted to hold on to the picks, some felt going after Curry was better than anyone they could have gotten with those picks.

It's pretty obvious.

I understand that Steph has been playing quite ordinary and average lately and his defense on Parker last night was terrible (That's being nice) but he's still our best player on a bad low IQ team. If our 2 toughest players is a 5'7" rookie and a guy on the verge of retiring than that says something bad. My point is, this isn't Stephs fault, at all. If we want to move him, go for it, but deal like Mike James and Jalen Rose are assinine b/c you are getting much lesser talent and nothing else. That kind of trade is pointless. If you're gonna trade Steph, you have to get an unprotected draft pic (Preferably from a team that will be bad in the Oden draft) or young talent that could help the team in more or different ways but equally as effective as Steph. If you give him up for Martell Webster and some of the blazers bad contracts fine (And they could use a vet) But if your just giving him up for aging vets who aren't nearly as good as Steph, than your playing yourself.
